I’d love to hear more about how Yasmin upkeeps a living in a high cost city, and an influencer lifestyle, because while I LOVE her, and want to know so much more about her, she barely posts on Instagram and UA-cam. The girlies wanna know, can we really make a living off minimal effort influencing (after gaining a well enough following?). Especially living somewhere like LA/Miami/NYC?? Please cover some insight here. All love ❤❤

I think Yazmine is living a great life from what she has shown. She seems to be more private, which is more relatable for me. But remember, "Life" milestones aren't the same for everyone and they can change as you get older. For some, going to college, living in dorms, getting a degree, working in corporate america, etc.. are their left milestones. Getting married and having multiple children young is definitely not what some aspire to in life. I know so many who don't even want children or to get married.
Yasmin is soo pretty and humble/ genuine. You can just tell when someone is in tune with themselves and has really done the inner work.

I can definitely relate with Yasmin… I’m the oldest, my sister and I are 8 years apart and growing up was very different for the both of us. The pressure you get when you’re the oldest sibling can be stressful.
The way I just cut my camera off in this meeting and flew to this podcast is crazy. 😂 This timing is genius though I typically start my morning with a podcast. let’s go sisters 💐💕 your sis said what now?? Lol

It can be so difficult to listen to podcast that are very loud and obnoxious.
I'd love to hear ya'll talk about your family's background story 💖 like why your parents decided to move to Romania and then America, how Baba speaks so many languages, your Persian culture and how your parents learned Arabic, etc.
And their religious background growing up!
@@youngr4974 Yes! I remember Naz saying she's not Muslim, which I know is common to hear from Persians living overseas. Their parents might be though, idk. Mama Kavari seems more religious than Baba though.

I understand the both you are very aware of the privilege you hold not having to work “real” jobs, but i really disliked the way you guys spoke about normal jobs. “I looked at Yasmin in her cubicle and said ‘oh honey…’” “I just can’t imagine going to the same place everyday being there for hours.”
So many of your viewers work normal jobs, it came off tone deaf.
Agree. I love them so much and was really excited for this! But i’m also a college student while also working a 9-5 desk job. Just super discouraging :(
I think she meant that in a way that is isn't right for Yasmin, not like crapping on it entirely. As in she knows her sister and her personality and, knew that the job wasn't for her. Atleast that's how I took it

Loved this first episode! I can totally relate to both of y’all. My sister and I also share the same 6-year age gap. As the older daughter, I completely understand where Yas is coming from - we often have more responsibilities and experience a different set of parents. I also got my degree but ended up not using it; I loved school and learning, but the field just wasn’t for me. I relate to Naz too, about following your dreams, trusting your intuition, and not letting small-town life and small-minded mentalities hold you back from doing what you love and are passionate about. Great first episode! Can’t wait to hear “What My Sis Said” on the next podcast ☺️🥰💁🏻♀️🎉

I LOVED THIS 1ST EPISODE!!! I had it saved on my calendar in my phone, lol, and was like "I'm going to watch it when I'm home alone and working virtually!" This way I can pause the vid when calls come in and still not be bothered with in-person distractions. Lol. You guys cut/edit too much and it makes the pod seem too produced and ruins the flow. This is diff than a sit down talking UA-cam video, it’s a podcast lol. You don’t have to edit out every stutter or pause. That was the only critique I had but great job ladies
And the quality of the video looks very fake. I wish it was a little more genuine like regular podcasts. I wanna feel like I’m there too. Whatever filter they have looks too cartoonish.

I loved this episode so much! I can relate to Yasmin’s eldest immigrant daughter experiences. It’s crazy going to school and doing everything we’re told to do and then realizing your not happy but I’m so glad things worked out for her now ❤
