    Since he didn't mark one of the laces so that it would be easier to follow which of the laces he was working with I found that dropping the speed (click on the gear icon, choose speed then choose something like .5) in half to .5 helped make this easier to follow.

    I wish you would have marked the laces like lace 1 and lace 2 or markered on lace and left the other plain or something. That way it would have been easier to differentiate which lace you were working with when you started flipping them around each other.

    Ingenious...I never thought to remove the in-soles and tuck the laces inside. All this time I've had the laces in the shoe above the in-soles....LOL.

      Man imagine land feet first with a not right under your feet,,ouch
      He could just for them right behind the toung of the shoe
      No need to put them under
      This seems very uncomfortable.

    Great tutorial, any suggestions if I cannot get the lace to go back through the top hole to double up the top lace?

    • @stuntmotomoto
      @stuntmotomoto  7 років тому

      You could just lace 5 eyelets.
      Or maybe tie the knot on the side where both the laces end up, and shove the excess laces under the insole. But that might be uncomfortable having the knot on the side of your foot. Good luck.

    • @CountryCowgirlsComin

    I love the way this looks.... but how comfortable can it be with the knot in your shoes? I don't tie mine and there's times even the laces can irritate my foot. 💁 Just wondering.

    • @mcbrite
      @mcbrite Рік тому

      You can hide the knot almost anywhere you want to... Including between the tongue and the "wall"... Keep in mind if you tie the knot directly behind the tongue, it will tend to compress the tongue in time if it is too tight... Can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you want it to look...

    Would it be possible to double lace the second lace from the top to keep the lip in place? And then layer it the same way you layered the very top double lace?

    • @stuntmotomoto
      @stuntmotomoto  9 років тому

      TheKglennon I think you would have to double lace the top three, so that you end up with the laces on opposite sides, if you have 6 eyelets like the shoes in the video. Or instead of double lacing the top lace, you could double lace the second lace and then single lace the top one, that way you would end up with a lace on each side so you could tie them.
      The tongues on my shoes don't really move around. I think it would just be extra work. Just move the tongue into place when you put the shoes on and they should stay in place.
