Since he didn't mark one of the laces so that it would be easier to follow which of the laces he was working with I found that dropping the speed (click on the gear icon, choose speed then choose something like .5) in half to .5 helped make this easier to follow.
I wish you would have marked the laces like lace 1 and lace 2 or markered on lace and left the other plain or something. That way it would have been easier to differentiate which lace you were working with when you started flipping them around each other.
Man imagine land feet first with a not right under your feet,,ouch He could just for them right behind the toung of the shoe No need to put them under This seems very uncomfortable.
Good video. I was wondering how to get the laces off of 1 side at the final bar. Then finished with a knot and tuck. (Great details other videos don't show).
You could just lace 5 eyelets. Or maybe tie the knot on the side where both the laces end up, and shove the excess laces under the insole. But that might be uncomfortable having the knot on the side of your foot. Good luck.
That's it, mate!...No: "Please grant me your like...because it helps my grandma..." or "Subscribe for more vids like this...". Straight to the point, no trash information nor greetings to your backstreet neighborgs...Great video!
I love the way this looks.... but how comfortable can it be with the knot in your shoes? I don't tie mine and there's times even the laces can irritate my foot. 💁 Just wondering.
You can hide the knot almost anywhere you want to... Including between the tongue and the "wall"... Keep in mind if you tie the knot directly behind the tongue, it will tend to compress the tongue in time if it is too tight... Can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you want it to look...
totally different how I do bars... one up top and the other threads through up and up until the last hole. Been doing this with my fat laces for 35 years. never sen it done that way though.
Muito obrigado brother com esse vídeo seu eu consegui colocar cadarço em meu tênis muito mais moderno.... muito bom seu vídeo Meus parabéns e Obrigado de novo
Would it be possible to double lace the second lace from the top to keep the lip in place? And then layer it the same way you layered the very top double lace?
TheKglennon I think you would have to double lace the top three, so that you end up with the laces on opposite sides, if you have 6 eyelets like the shoes in the video. Or instead of double lacing the top lace, you could double lace the second lace and then single lace the top one, that way you would end up with a lace on each side so you could tie them. The tongues on my shoes don't really move around. I think it would just be extra work. Just move the tongue into place when you put the shoes on and they should stay in place.
@@kaisoliz2533 regular chuck taylors or the 70s variant have glued insoles. Other variants like the chuck taylor 2's have removable ones tho. So, you might have a different one. Cheers

+angel djsamp (WOT) The laces that came with your shoes will be long enough. If you're buying new laces, measure the laces that your shoes came with and get laces that size or bigger.
+stuntmotomoto thank you, it's only that i can't find this type of lace in a cheap price, however is better buy in another part because is more smaller than my shoes laces
great video! thanks for making it short enough without annoying music like everyone else seems to do. 🤗
Thank you so much for this video. I was so frustrated with other videos. This one helped me get my laces done. Ur a lifesaver!
I wasn't even looking for this type of lacing video but it turns out that it works, thank you

It's kinda scary if u slow it down I don't know why... The sounds
thank you very much for a detailed video instruction. I learned a lot on how to....

Ingenious...I never thought to remove the in-soles and tuck the laces inside. All this time I've had the laces in the shoe above the in-soles....LOL.
Great video I just learnt how to do this for along time I have always had to tie up my sneakers now I won’t have to anyone .
I was watching this and some how invented my own lace style:)
GG monster :p

Except for the having to walk on a knot part, that’s great.

Yes i did the first one. Now i have to do the other shoe.

Wow this really worked thank you and like the others it was so fast but you have the normal speed thank you 😄
Brilliant, thank you so much! now i don't have to tie my laces again, and the bars look better! 😊
Great tutorial, any suggestions if I cannot get the lace to go back through the top hole to double up the top lace?

stuntmotomoto I just left both on the same side and tucked them. Thanks!
This brother is a mad scientist.

This comment made me crack up lol

This took me forever but I got it. After like a hour. But my wife and daughter was in the mix too 😂
Just buy "no tie laces." A lot easier, looks exactly like the finished results in video, and keeps the sneakers snug when wearing.
I bought them, still a bit confused on how to make the lace tighter lol.
It's tough but the result is wonderful

Don't ya just hate it when your lace snags on the front of the shoe when your trying to lace up your kicks?
I totally forgot how to do this. Thanks so much!

I don't remember the model name, but the brand is DC Shoes.
Thank you very helpful
why is this so hard for me to follow.
Molly Hill i thought I was the only one
it requires a deep level of focus

Turn your shoe the same way and it will be easy. Point the toe towards yourself :)
So 9yrs ago, it was trendy to wear shoes that appear to have been designed 50yrs prior.
Thanks bro! You're amazing!
+Cristina Eugenia Matus Pérez Thanks.
stuntmotomoto those shoes are sexy
Dude, love the patriotic color scheme of those sneaks! But isn't that a bit uncomfortable? I mean, that lump of laces under the sole of your foot.
Do you need six holes to do this ?
+Jacob Manalo No, you can do this style with any number of holes.
Okay thank you
stuntmotomoto
sup
I thought u can only do this with only an even number of holes
When u have ur chucks and u realize u have more holes...im on my own...

G B
Your shoes probably have a different number of lace holes than his shoes do.
Nice idea
muy bonitos
amazing stuntmotomoto
0:20 for the second shoe !
yes i did
Can I do it with running shoes ?
If they're shoes that you can't slip on, then it probably won't work. But if you normally leave them tied and slip them off and on then it will work.
Awesome dude thanks
I cant remove the soles of my AC/DC pair so ima just shove the laces up to the front of the shoe
hi, help me! i want to do it the diamond laces but i don't know if i use lace of 120cm is enough, thank you for the video :D

Haxor_op good job 👍👌
F that! Getting the sole back in straight is harder then finding the shoes you want and lacing put together.
