Hi, from my own personal experience, never assume that the dwp still have all your previous evidence etc... I always resend all my evidence for reviews, as you are relying on them still having your info (& even being bothered to look)... Always resend with claims/reviews... I realise others may do things differently, but feel it gives you a better chance, as it's all attached to your form 🙂
In my experience i've noticed they definitely always look at my previous pip award/review ect, but I still always on a new review send the same evidence eg diagnosing illness ect as well as new evidence.
I've just sent my mandatory reconsideration, I'm Recovering from breast cancer and has been left with severe Anxiety, bone pain and Arthritis ,my quality of life is poor , I explained all of this ,can't believe I was 2 points away from receiving pip , so this time I got a letter from my oncologist and from my cancer counselling which I'm starting, my cancer was aggressive with a chance of secondary cancer ,this could end my life so how the hell I'm not titled just waiting again now ,don't no what I do if I'm turned down again all this has caused even more stress 😢
@@Debilee16 am in the same place as you . The problem being the real people are being turned down who needs the HELP to move forward and have some quality of life 💖. It's sad as am only 57 years old and had to retire from my NHS Job I loved for 8 years plus and my dream job I thought 🤔 for life or until my retirement age of 67 . My stress levels are through the roof we now my side effects from chemo and radiotherapy becoming more and more. Over last few years ,walking going up and down the stairs ,cooking meals ,preparing food ,dressing etc. My daughter and husband is my unpaid carers help in between they full time and husbands part time am / pm shifts ( Monday till Friday)around 24/7 at weekends etc..( NIL CARERS payment as over the 10p to get it !!! ) The system is 💔 Broken with DWP and also the NHS. Sorry to say as am NHS through and though with excellent treatments I had for my cancer and secondary cancer now. But here to tell my tale . I could write a book on it and would be a best seller !.
Just completed a review. My son has told them that I his parent does the necessity due to preexisting conditions and already receiving Pip . Daily reminders , prompting etc . Just last week he was diagnosed with a form of leukaemia with ongoing tests etc. we are at the moment trying to process this devastating news whilst completing the review form.
Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to read this. As a parent, I can only imagine the anguish and shock that you are going through. I’m pretty sure that when it comes to Cancer or Leukaemia, there’s either a charity (Marie Curie or McMillan) for example that will do the PIP forms for you. Depending on how old your son is, there may even be someone within the clinical department who can assist you with the forms and advise you on anything else you may be eligible for. I hear you, and can relate somewhat. It’s exhausting suffering with mental illness for years, on top of other health conditions... and constant triggers 😔. I’m alone apart from my pets, it’s them I think about... cos no one would discover me for few days if I did something. I love my pets more than myself. At those times, I try to get through half an hour at a time, then an hour at a time, using as many distractions as I can... like writing, drawing, UA-cam. Night times are worst for me, there’s no one to phone... and I don’t use social media. Just watch YT occasionally. Hang in there ❤️✌🏻

You see departments like Pip etc won't tell you this so I am, the helplessness, the loneliness, feeling powerless because getting through each day is a marathon. All we have sometimes is hope and I want you to have that. ♥️
I have a wet room which has a seat there for my also have 2 rails where the shower is. I have a loo frame. I have a kettle rocker to help me make a hot drink plus a perching stool . I need other things to help me in the kitchen. My daughter helps me put the bottom half of my clothes, including socks and shoes

Hi Charlie, I am on Universal Credit and suffer clinical depression and anxiety. I have recently received PIP due to my circumstances and mental health. I am trying to get myself back into work so I have enrolled in various different work courses. I recently passed my PTS Railway course, my Telehandler Course all of which I have done myself, universal credit have done nothing to help me, only try and prevent me from getting a job. I have travelled at my own expense 800 miles, I have submitted my fuel receipts and they keep messing me around saying they I have to go into the Job centre, then 1 day before my appointment they change it for a later date, and then refuse to do anything else about my fuel receipts. I was wondering if I can go over there heads and get someone who is in a position of authority to sort things.. As you can imagine it is having a massive effect on my mental health and and physical. I have made loads of complaints but nobody is bothered. Regards Peter
Unless the DWP sent you to do those courses they are not going to help you with travel expenses. I have asked before doing the course and was told no. Don't waste your energy you are not going to get any money unfortunately.
I recently bought the kettle!!!! I struggle with the weight of a kettle (arthritis/joint replacements/weak grip); and, I have parental responsibility for 2 very young grandchildren, so nervous about dropping it. The kettle is a godsend! *It ONLY heats 1 measured cup at a time so no worries if a child were to.pull it down after you just made a cuppa. The rest of the water is still at room temp *FAST! Literally flick a switch and you have a cup ready poured in 30 seconds!!!!! * It is a measured cup so theres a good inch clear which helps avoid spills *temp (for me) is a less hot than I like, but its drummed home im not doing myself any favours making my drinks too hot. Def safer if you spill, less chance of bad burns. * great looking - visitors thought it was a coffee maker. * can add water using a small jug rather than taking kettle to tap. * £40 is good value. Im really loving this. Has lowered my stress levels about burn risks - and theres no waiting for the darn kettle to boil❤ Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Charlie. Couple of questions for you. I can't take medication as I'm intolerant of anything that works on the brain (opiods, antidepressants, anti seizure) which seems to be common with fibromyalgia. Only thing I can use is water, heat and naproxen which isn't good on muscular pain. How do i put that over so they understand that not taking pills doesn't mean I'm not in pain? My partner is going through testing for narcolepsy type 1. They said that they're ignoring all evidence of fatigue as it's not diagnosed, but that's a lot of their struggles. They sleep half the day, if they do anything they start to fatigue, they can't walk far without falling asleep (often still standing). How do we get them to accept it or do we have to wait until diagnosis?

Yes yes yes!!!! Driving a car vs chopping food. Ohhhhh the stories i could tell from my interview on this one Re Dr letters I am extremely fortunate. My GP offered to write a letter to send with my app. When i appealed he came with me to my interview. He was very firm about 'how my conditions affected me'.... The result of his support... I was asked if we had a personal relationship. She changed the question at my look of horror and said she had meant were we related. I was mortified. I have a GP who always gives me a long appt, goes above and beyond to ensure im getting the best care and he was slapped in the face😢

I have virtually no evidence, I take daily pain meds, have fit notes so can't work too many hours, have disabled bus pass but no actual diagnosis... yet. I use aids which I can show evidence kn, but not much else.
It’s nice to see genuine “useful” information on this channel that people who need it can use. There’s a channel on UA-cam that I stopped watching a while ago because it was so negative and basically a joke. Provoking people to react then crying because of the negative comments. And yet bring it on themselves. It became apparent to me that it’s was all done on purpose to create (what they think) is content because they don’t have anything constructive to say. Just a note, there's a difference between Occupational Health (connected with being work) and Occupational Therapy (who are responsible for assessing and providing aids for adls.) I've just completed my son's PIP form and I've sent a cover letter along with it saying that I want permission to forward supporting evidence online via email as to print out 100+ pages would incur costs to me. I'm awaiting their response. Personally in this modern world I feel we should be able to submit things online. Was made worse that every time I queried which support information was required, I didnt get a specific answer but rather a general 'just whatever you have.' This means I've to send all reports etc which in turn will cost money for ink.
Hi, I had to have my bath removed as social care provided a bath lift but i couldnt lift my legs over the side of the bath and they were not allowed to do that for me. I had a shower tray the same size as the bath and i use a plastic wheeled seat with a rail on the back which i bought on eBay so i can be wheeled up to the shower.
I couldn't afford lots of aids so to get my trousers I used two fabric belts one either side through the belt loops to pull them up whilst sat on the bed, once they're over the knees you can pull the legs up until your feet are through, my other half came up with that idea unusual for him lol I can't bend over due to severe lung disorder
Excellent advise Charlie but my review form was submitted last November 2023 and my get face to face after june2025 at the earliest😢. Photos I have on my phone already will I show them it ???. No benefits only husband works 22 hrs per week and me on pip till june2025 review 😢........ How would I get it on this information if vouchers etc. X😮❤
You can get all your hospital records including x-rays and other digital scans via Freedom of information act. You will find a form on your hospital website. They will send it to you within a month. I have done it. I got everything including all x-rays and CT scans.
Unless you pay this women money she wont HELP you ..... 16 year's of claiming PIP and shes been rejected..... Speaks volumes .... Dont believe all of her crap .... if your a genuine person you will receive PIP

I'v remove all my LED lights as they flash so fast you can not see it unless you record them with a smart phone and slow the recording down and you will see the flashing .

You can always state due to sensory issues related to your autism that you are unable to prepare food yourself and need assistance in doing so with you explaining that meals need to be made for you. Hope this helps 😊

I'm a bit confused, and with my level of brain fog, that's not difficult, lol. I live in Northern Ireland, and I never get results from MRIs or CT scans. I never see them on a screen or even see the consultant afterward. My GP just told me that I have problems in my neck area and middle back. That was it. I'm having excruciating pain in my tailbone, which showed nothing. I never get copies of blood tests, x-rays, or from consultant appointments. When I did my PIPs, I had no doctor's evidence because I never get any in my hand. The only thing I have is appointment letters. I do have aids that were given to me, but I could do with more now, but I don't know who to contact. I wonder if things are done differently in the UK, as my friend over there can see things online and order scripts, whereas we have nothing online at all.
Hi Pauline, you should be able to access your medical records from your GP.. So all your treatments, scans etc, there should be a record of your medical history... You need to fill a form. Under freedom of information act hospitals are required under the law to send you all the records. You can phone the hospital or the form is available on each hospital website.
I’m a little confused because I was under the impression that if you did use aids and that those aids enabled you to do the task for instance cut up food or get in and out of bath that you were then treated as ‘can do ‘ the task and scored no points. Is that correct? Thanks
I used ChatGPT (as last resort-as there is _de facto_ no legal aid for UC claimants) and it uses all the correct legal terminology and quotes UK Employment and Welfare Law as well as ECHR and UDHR articles-It knows all about DWP and Universal Credit because it has read everything on Earth (including stuff they don't want you to know about)

Same-no shower or bath for years-the WCA doctor took note of that (I had to correct 2 mistakes in that sentence-I notice I make lots more mistakes-not the mental energy I once had-I just take 3 hours to do things that took 5 minutes-and nobody is fair enough to pay for that) I'm no Scientologist but sandwiches and shakes sounds like extremely valuable evidence of a disability to prepare meals (and is likely viewed by any doctor as a hazard to health due to lack of dietary variety) Same-my brother buys me chips too often for convenience but saves the energy of cleaning (I never use a plate just fingers) At 60-after I was terminated for having pneumonia and after ICU-I find it hard to go to the bin every 5 minutes with a teabag (especially in winter) so they just pile up - apple cores banana skins egg shells (I've never liked flip top bins full of bean juice and now you have to separate everything) What looks like a bit of clutter to some people looks like a horror show to my mum; but it does not need to look like one of those hoarders with 9 pets Some people are slaving their life away keeping a cold kitchen clean (just for their landlord when they check the gas once a year) otherwise they would have more free time to rest and damn the _clutter_ that can be cleaned every month (as we old people don't consume much) with no money (the slugs come in clean or not)
My daughter has had xrays she is waiting to see the consultant next week,she has back and pelvic arthritis, its been 2 years waiting as her DR sent referral from but then cancelled it. If she gets PIP can they back date it to then she is in terrible pain all the time. Thanks

I do understand what you are saying with taking a picture of a disability aid in situ but, am sorry to tell you that this is not evidence at all. This shows a disability aid and there is no proof at all that it is ‘your’ aid nor your kitchen (or whatever room you use. Would you not advise your listeners that they are better to take a short video, and an still photo from that video could be submitted as evidence and then if the DWP say it’s not being considered, the claimant could send the video to the tribunal? I only say this as I have submitted photos to the DWP and it’s gone all the way to tribunal and they dismissed my evidence as there was no evidence of it being my injury! You need to evidence all you send them. Have your claim form on the side. Your face in the picture. It could be anyone’s home, you could have bought that stool to cheat the DWP!

DWP spend 8 hours on a computer (in the warmest offices in the UK) they spent £2.9B finding 7 in 100 any type of task on Restart - The Work and Health Programme (Ofsted special measures) just abandoned people while they sat at a computer - They asked people "Do your teeth hurt" and did not even ask for their CV

I have travelled at my own expense 800 miles, I have submitted my fuel receipts and they keep messing me around saying they I have to go into the Job centre, then 1 day before my appointment they change it for a later date, and then refuse to do anything else about my fuel receipts. I was wondering if I can go over there heads and get someone who is in a position of authority to sort things..
As you can imagine it is having a massive effect on my mental health and and physical.
I have made loads of complaints but nobody is bothered.

Unless the DWP sent you to do those courses they are not going to help you with travel expenses. I have asked before doing the course and was told no. Don't waste your energy you are not going to get any money unfortunately.

I recently bought the kettle!!!! I struggle with the weight of a kettle (arthritis/joint replacements/weak grip); and, I have parental responsibility for 2 very young grandchildren, so nervous about dropping it.
The kettle is a godsend!
*It ONLY heats 1 measured cup at a time so no worries if a child were to.pull it down after you just made a cuppa. The rest of the water is still at room temp
*FAST! Literally flick a switch and you have a cup ready poured in 30 seconds!!!!!
* It is a measured cup so theres a good inch clear which helps avoid spills
*temp (for me) is a less hot than I like, but its drummed home im not doing myself any favours making my drinks too hot. Def safer if you spill, less chance of bad burns.
* great looking - visitors thought it was a coffee maker.
* can add water using a small jug rather than taking kettle to tap.
* £40 is good value. Im really loving this. Has lowered my stress levels about burn risks - and theres no waiting for the darn kettle to boil❤

Hi Charlie. Couple of questions for you.
I can't take medication as I'm intolerant of anything that works on the brain (opiods, antidepressants, anti seizure) which seems to be common with fibromyalgia. Only thing I can use is water, heat and naproxen which isn't good on muscular pain. How do i put that over so they understand that not taking pills doesn't mean I'm not in pain?
My partner is going through testing for narcolepsy type 1. They said that they're ignoring all evidence of fatigue as it's not diagnosed, but that's a lot of their struggles. They sleep half the day, if they do anything they start to fatigue, they can't walk far without falling asleep (often still standing). How do we get them to accept it or do we have to wait until diagnosis?

I am extremely fortunate. My GP offered to write a letter to send with my app. When i appealed he came with me to my interview. He was very firm about 'how my conditions affected me'....
The result of his support... I was asked if we had a personal relationship. She changed the question at my look of horror and said she had meant were we related. I was mortified. I have a GP who always gives me a long appt, goes above and beyond to ensure im getting the best care and he was slapped in the face😢
I had a very good GP too , was gutted when he took early retirement . Now trying to build a rapport with my new GP which will take time ….

I have virtually no evidence, I take daily pain meds, have fit notes so can't work too many hours, have disabled bus pass but no actual diagnosis... yet. I use aids which I can show evidence kn, but not much else.

It’s nice to see genuine “useful” information on this channel that people who need it can use. There’s a channel on UA-cam that I stopped watching a while ago because it was so negative and basically a joke. Provoking people to react then crying because of the negative comments. And yet bring it on themselves. It became apparent to me that it’s was all done on purpose to create (what they think) is content because they don’t have anything constructive to say. Who constantly slander Charlie’s name and slag this channel off because Charlie p***ed on their parade of charging for services similar to Charlie’s channel. Just a note, there's a difference between Occupational Health (connected with being work) and Occupational Therapy (who are responsible for assessing and providing aids for adls.)
I've just completed my son's PIP form and I've sent a cover letter along with it saying that I want permission to forward supporting evidence online via email as to print out 100+ pages would incur costs to me. I'm awaiting their response. Personally in this modern world I feel we should be able to submit things online. Was made worse that every time I queried which support information was required, I didnt get a specific answer but rather a general 'just whatever you have.' This means I've to send all reports etc which in turn will cost money for ink.
Hi, I had to have my bath removed as social care provided a bath lift but i couldnt lift my legs over the side of the bath and they were not allowed to do that for me. I had a shower tray the same size as the bath and i use a plastic wheeled seat with a rail on the back which i bought on eBay so i can be wheeled up to the shower.

I couldn't afford lots of aids so to get my trousers I used two fabric belts one either side through the belt loops to pull them up whilst sat on the bed, once they're over the knees you can pull the legs up until your feet are through, my other half came up with that idea unusual for him lol I can't bend over due to severe lung disorder

You can get all your hospital records including x-rays and other digital scans via Freedom of information act. You will find a form on your hospital website. They will send it to you within a month. I have done it. I got everything including all x-rays and CT scans.

@@lisaroberts5889 Are you okay in the upstairs department? youtube works by paying people through clicks and adverts, if you see an advert it means the user is monetised which for every click they get paid based on number of views, so if she has 10k views lets say on a video and a long duration of watchers it could be anything from £60 to £200 a video, so yes she does get paid she just doesn't feel the need to tell you that because you all assume she's an angel for some reason.

I'm a bit confused, and with my level of brain fog, that's not difficult, lol. I live in Northern Ireland, and I never get results from MRIs or CT scans. I never see them on a screen or even see the consultant afterward. My GP just told me that I have problems in my neck area and middle back. That was it. I'm having excruciating pain in my tailbone, which showed nothing.
I never get copies of blood tests, x-rays, or from consultant appointments. When I did my PIPs, I had no doctor's evidence because I never get any in my hand. The only thing I have is appointment letters.
I do have aids that were given to me, but I could do with more now, but I don't know who to contact.
I wonder if things are done differently in the UK, as my friend over there can see things online and order scripts, whereas we have nothing online at all.
Hi Pauline, you should be able to access your medical records from your GP.. So all your treatments, scans etc, there should be a record of your medical history... You need to fill a form. Under freedom of information act hospitals are required under the law to send you all the records. You can phone the hospital or the form is available on each hospital website.

I do understand what you are saying with taking a picture of a disability aid in situ but, am sorry to tell you that this is not evidence at all. This shows a disability aid and there is no proof at all that it is ‘your’ aid nor your kitchen (or whatever room you use. Would you not advise your listeners that they are better to take a short video, and an still photo from that video could be submitted as evidence and then if the DWP say it’s not being considered, the claimant could send the video to the tribunal?
I only say this as I have submitted photos to the DWP and it’s gone all the way to tribunal and they dismissed my evidence as there was no evidence of it being my injury! You need to evidence all you send them. Have your claim form on the side. Your face in the picture. It could be anyone’s home, you could have bought that stool to cheat the DWP!
