Well what people didn't see in this video were the freezing temperatures (46F - freezing by Florida standards) we had to endure during the night. We got up at 7am, packed up and left at 8am. There were only 3 of us leaving at that time. I'm fairly sure the girls wouldn't have appreciated me filming them looking like they did that following morning 😂

amazing video. I was on the edge of my seat when I realised you appeared to be landing on a taxiway but then I saw the orange dot.... Great landing and great video
Thanks for watching! A lot of people seemed perplexed about the taxiway landing. Someone even said I should expect a pilot deviation! 😂

Awesome video. It was my first time going to Sun N Fun (Wednesday). We didn’t fly in, drove from St. Pete. Nice way to spend one day of vacation dreaming about planes!

I found the most interesting was from when your picked up the interstate and followed the route in via the two water towers - plus of course the nice, tight base to final. I'm hoping to visit either Air Venture or Sun n Fun with a mate in '23. He's Navy and I'm Air Force, so after we do the bourbon trail (did I mention he's Navy?), we'll do the air show. Can't wait to get back and see the States again.

I have a question not about the video. How did you and your wife prepare for your checkride? Who was your DPE? I need pointers on how to study. I’ll be doing a mock one soon and I’m just having a rough time and distractions. I’m not the best when under pressure
