Hey dude great video at 9.40 Ben mentions the cascading normalizing one in going to four outs does it also do four ins going to one out ie mixing the inputs?
Hi Guy, no it doesn't mix the outputs. The inputs normalise down but the outputs don't mix. No room for it on the boards and headroom might be an issue too.

I didn't know that wasn't made anymore.
@@DivKid Yeah, it was still on their website but they let me know it was no longer in production. They indicated they hope to have a quad VCA coming out this year with mutes. Given their quad LFO and quad envelope I'm guessing that's not really letting any cats out of any bags.
Bo and Ben who are two good and nice boys, must make a CS80 module together if that is possible ;)

if I make a module it is going to be one that talks a lot
various mutes do exist. From super simple passive socket to switch to output socket designs to some a little more fleshed out. But this has nice tricks which make it worthwhile.

Great to see you guys together talk. though 18 minutes of talking about a mutes module :/ I wonder how much you would talk about Er-301 or Eloquencer. Anyways, i need a mutes module, but i was thinking about something more visual that can be seen in the dark, with leds on/off (hold), separate colors. for all these aspects, that's more useful for me.
Bypassed audio in and out and switches don't do anything.
I tried the same thing with control voltage same result
I hope another run is made so I can buy one in the States as all of the distributors are sold out :(

This mute switch does not carry pitch information. Although it is buffered and it is stated on the website “This module can add mutes to anything” this is not the case! Buyer beware!

Hi. I would like to ask yiu a well meant question. Obviously you could choose not to answer. The youtube advertizing gear stars have not commented on the utter insane price increase of the op1. Why? Dont you find this , to say the least, strange?. Thats why i have commented before that all these youtubers are salesmen and nothing more. Thanks
I don’t like the term ”advertising gear stars”. What does that make music gear magazines? Advertisement? Like seriously dude. Such a weird way to look at tech reviewers and creators.
As for the TE price debacle: I don’t really care that much tbh. I thought it was overpriced as is and now its even more overpriced. But I have no info on why they increased the price, and maybe there are good reasons.
In general I do not make videos on drama topics. I do talk about stuff like this on my live stream, and over on Instagram and Twitter. I just recently posted my summary of it on IG. The short of it: it doesn’t really affect people, and if people want to get upset they can but I think its better to focus your energy on some real issue. An overpriced synth got even more overpriced. Big deal.
@@BoBeats actually the term didnt aplly to you as you have quite a few subscribers but not over 1000000. The person i had in mind had made a video with the exact title some time ago. " is the op 1 overprised ?" Answer was NO. Now its double the price , will he make another one?? There are a lot of people who actually buy products because they "trust" these people. You will right!y ask why am i asking you then? I just wanted your opinion. I did sent a message to the person that i am referring to.
