looks so good how it moves underwater. I bought one a few months ago. was about to use it and dropped it, lost it down a crack into the water. With these sale's on I bought another 2 to try. can't wait to see how they go. thanks for the cool video
I bought one through Amazon, here in the US. From your video, I really liked the action, particularly of the claws floating up with trebles in both. I have dove and watched sheepshead feed on small blue crabs, and can testify they usually try to dismember the claws first, in order to go for an easy meal. That is also why when fishing with live fiddlers, try to ignore the first taps, because that maybe the sheepies pecking off the claws, no where near your hook. I excitedly tied it on, and started casting off the seawal lWithin 30 minutes, working over riprap, it got stuck. I was able to change angles and pop it out, but the bottom cover (which holds the weight) and one set of legs came off. The eyes and hooks are fine. Are they really that delicate? If so, does cranka sell accessory kits with more legs and weights?
Spaghetti Yeti So if someone was to design a more realistic looking crab with finer detail for cheaper you probly buy some aye,, a little birds told me this could very well happen.. I think Cranka needs some healthy competition, just sayin.wink wink
I’ve been meaning to watch some videos about these bad boys because I’ve been questioning to get one or not and this video was awesome and wonderful, I might go grab one soon. Thanks 🎣👍🏻
Do you think they would go well on rocky terrain, like really rocky? Because I think the fish there would gobble them up, but the rocks. and rough waters might be a bit to much for the crab lire.
Do you use a quick change swivel or tie your line direct to the crab ? Are you using spinning flouro carbon straight through or just normal mono ? Thanks .
mylurebox , it was awesome. It looked like they were rigged together cause the camera moved exactly when the lure did. But the camera kept focus on the lure. Still not sure how you did that even with a rig
hey man, over here in the north east coast of the USA we have fish called tautog, they feed almost exclusively on crabs and other hard baits, but they have some serious crushing teeth on them as well as crushers back in their throats. do you think these lures could stand up to them?
I use it mexico to catch coconacos(mexican barred snapper) and pargos(snappers) from shore, it's a little small, an they will often get gut hooked, but it's a good lure
It’s something I’ll only try when it’s a sandy bottom really. Those little floaty claws help a bit but I know what you mean. Esp. At $20 a lure taking that chance is a bit dicey
You can have a great US market with those for sheepshead I've been destroying the sheepshead and I've only have had in for a week but you have to do something about the hocks those hooks are not strong enough for the big sheepshead here in South Florida i've already gone through four trouble hooks and they cost me big fish the big sheepshead snap them right off
Great underwater footage. It amazes me how it never ends up upside down on the drop or retrieve.
yeah

I just bought that exact Cranka & I'm so excited to use it!! I love how it moves!!

Jonny was good to meet you last weekend legend!
Newmarch's Fishin Mission great to catch you mate ;) it's a great weekend hey
Yeah man was an eye opener glad I made the trip that's for sure
I'm scared to use one because they are quite expensive to get snags

Ik i agree its tough to just toss money at a nice lure bc if you break it off then its kinda just money down the drain 😂
I'm scared to use my Diawa double clutch - $25 dollars!
I've saved my one crab like 3 times all from thought to be impossible places (eg. wrapped around a 10m pylon etc I have no idea how it's still here xD
I had to jump into river few times to retrieve it

They’re well worth it mate. Exy when you look at how small they are but boy they smash em
Hello there,
What gear is best suited for this lure?
Thanks.
Do you think they would go well on rocky terrain, like really rocky?
Because I think the fish there would gobble them up, but the rocks. and rough waters might be a bit to much for the crab lire.
Where can you get them from?
Do you use a quick change swivel or tie your line direct to the crab ? Are you using spinning flouro carbon straight through or just normal mono ? Thanks .
Hey mate. I don’t use a swivel ever. Just for filming the lure ;) I usually tie right to the split ring :) and fluro right through
Great review, i see your fishing in tweed any good spots you suggest using these lures?
+Justin Tindall If you have a look at the other vids iv got on Cranka Crabs.. that'll show you exactly where i like ;)
LOL the crab looked like it was dabbing at 1:40 :)
Wish these were still 19.95
Hi mylurebox,
How did u film the underwater footage?
Very nice.
Hi Sean. I was running a GoPro rugged up with a custom mount. Cool to see em like that eh
mylurebox , it was awesome.
It looked like they were rigged together cause the camera moved exactly when the lure did. But the camera kept focus on the lure.
Still not sure how you did that even with a rig
Could u use the crab in saltwater and freshwater and for what fish likes this?.
Just bought one
And a drunken mullet
Can’t wait to flick em aye
What rod do U use

Just in case, thy do sell replaceable legs and claws :) Hope this helps mate.
you really using that big snap?
For god sake man have a butter menthol. Just bought one, a little unhappy with the price , but will be trying min out soon on some bream here in vic
How smart is that 😀
May I use this crab for sea fishing from shore? For example, for scorpion fish catching?
I use it mexico to catch coconacos(mexican barred snapper) and pargos(snappers) from shore, it's a little small, an they will often get gut hooked, but it's a good lure
+Inshoreangler1301 thanks, where are you from?
+Amigo!!! Compadre!!! From la paz
I will get one 😀
Would you say Olive is a good color??
Because I just ordered a 5.9 gram Olive. :)
Keiki_io Fish Maniac where did u ordered?
How would you rig it for fast current water?
There’s a 5.9g heavier version. Otherwise the best you can manage might be lighter braid for cutting through the water and helping the sink rate.
2:08 is that a sheepshead??
It's a bream ;)
Where for $20?
I bought one of these it got stolen by a bone fish first time I used it.
Awwww mate that’s a sting. Sick to hook a bone in any case though eh
I've never had much success dragging treble hooks across the bottom.
It’s something I’ll only try when it’s a sandy bottom really. Those little floaty claws help a bit but I know what you mean. Esp. At $20 a lure taking that chance is a bit dicey
I believe those multiple hooks are illegal in Florida.
Just received my Ceanka Crab and I am destroying the sheepshead in South Florida
Lance The Gimpy fisherman that's so good to hear ;) they're unreal hey
You can have a great US market with those for sheepshead I've been destroying the sheepshead and I've only have had in for a week but you have to do something about the hocks those hooks are not strong enough for the big sheepshead here in South Florida i've already gone through four trouble hooks and they cost me big fish the big sheepshead snap them right off
Lance The Gimpy fisherman you have to check Cranka's latest crabs. They're perfect for your US big brutes. Big heavy hook to hold those beasts ;)
I need a heavier gauge trouble hook the species I am catching go after The clause first
😁😁😁
Ridicule! Moi je pêche en mer avec des crabes Savage Gear, pas dans une piscine infestée de poissons pour la caméra...
4 or 5 $$ from Ali express mate
