Being honesty is not personal preference its a basic quality of a human being if you are not honest that means you failed as a human being ofcourse no one is perfect sometimes we lie and we are not honest that's okay but try improve your self that's what matter and also sometimes being unhonest to some people is okay because not everyone is a human being tsome peoples are just a monster inside and look like human outside don't waste time with them by being honest use your presence of mind and move on that's all

Though it doesn't affect me Or my relationship with anyone else. I have enough credibility that ppl trust me.. Atleast with ppl who know me! I think you missed out the difference between honesty and integrity in this video.
Stephen Covey, author of "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," reads "Integrity includes but goes beyond honesty. Honesty is telling the truth; in other words, conforming our words to reality. Integrity is keeping promises and fulfilling expectations; in other words, conforming reality to our words."
I am not normalising dishonesty i only said we are dishonest by nature we lie for lot of things to keep ourself comfortable. Honest is something we do it out of our comfort zone for a purpose.
Honesty is the best policy only when the policy is the best(for upliftment of society).
Hi, if you notice the Shankar’s screenplay it’s always a straight forward one. There won’t be any twists and turns and thrills. Hero does things out of law, people around him doubt him and he justifies his actions through a flashback, people empathise except I movie where Suresh Gopi is shown as a villain in the end as a ‘twist’.
And also your take reminds me on Superman and Batman’s fame. When DC comics introduced superman first, people started to relate with him more as he’s strong, honest, brave, handsome etc. Americans could relate to him more as their Ideal persona where he embodies the power and strength of America as a whole but years pass by and when economy starts to fade and Superman was nothing more than a ‘Boy Scout’, from there Batman started to shine till now who’s dark, gruesome, conniving with the ideology he respects and will do anything for it contrary to Superman, while blurring the hero’s justice as vigilante or ‘out of the law’. People started buying more Batman or similar dark themed comics which they could relate to their injustice and corruption around them. I can relate Senapathy’s fate similar to superman right now. TL,DR: Deadpool wouldn’t be famous 80 years ago the same way Superman right now.
