Thanks for the suggestion in the Red Max video to use a plywood bulkhead in the nose cone. I had an extra 3" plywood bulkhead and put it in with Rocketpoxy. And hey, a non-CATO E-24.
That looked like 354ft to me. I'd be more worried about the snow getting in the electronics over the ejection blast. I've landed my JLCR in the canal and JL gratuitously replaced it. I also landed a JLCR on the baseball field lights and got it back two years later. JL replaced it also. Much appreciated.
You’re probably right, probably make this an F motor minimum kit. So far I’ve been pretty lucky, as long as it stays below freezing the snow doesn’t get too wet. I’ll be in your neck of the woods next week! Visiting Kauai for some much needed sunshine. No rockets in my carry in sadly.
