Put an extra nut behind it so it can clear the guard.I know it defeats the purpose of the guard but I don’t use one.I won’t sit here and recommend people taking it off like I do though cause it’s dangerous if you haven’t been using a grinder like I have.I use a grinder all day every day at work so I feel very comfortable without a guard…yeah I know I’m dumb but it is what it is 😂
