- The "?m=1" parameter commonly found in Blogger URLs can lead to "Page with redirect" and "Alternate page with proper canonical tag" errors in Google Search Console.

These errors arise because search engines may crawl both the URL with and without the "?m=1" parameter, causing confusion about the canonical URL.
To address these errors, you can either implement a JavaScript solution that hides the "?m=1" parameter from mobile-optimized pages or set up Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) for your Blogger site, creating a separate mobile version that doesn't have the parameter.
Both methods effectively eliminate the duplicate URL issue and ensure that Google properly indexes your content.

If I don't do anything, my post is not indexing, so where is the solution.
Note that ?m=1 is not at all an issue in itself. This occurs when web content / url is opened in mobile device. Such url should not be disallowed by the crawlers otherwise the page itself will not get indexed. May this view may differ with others...but just examine once.

Google will index desktop url versions..... That's why you get these error messages in search console,
Possible reasons is, mobile url "?m=1" is not included in your Sitemap
So Google gives you warning about redirect but you can monitize your blog with Adsense
But if you remove "?m=1" using any code, your whole site might not be indexed due to redirect error
I'm also getting these errors
1st I tried to remove m=1, I got redirect error luckily I backed up my theme before making changes
....but redirect error was still there
So I copied my blogger site mobile version url and requested indexing in search console then my site url was indexed and 2 days after Google Adsense approved my blogger website
I think you're not fix the "Redirect error" due to "?m=1". This video didn't help me.
this is not something you can fix, everyone who is giving you javascript solution is not the right thing to do. m=1 is how blogger show web pages on mobile and manipulating that is not possible. watch the video again and you will understand what is this all about..

From what I understood it is not a problem but a report that Google provides, but for me it is a problem since it says redirection error that prevents indexing in Google but I do not have any redirect and I could not find the problem for a long time until I found The problem when you access the blog from a mobile device appears 2 that says 200 ok and 312 that directs you to the same page but with ?m=1 well I already found the problem but what about the solution? have you added any js code provided by some one ? seems you have a redirect on the pages which should not be there.

I have fixed the issue of pages with redirects, but it's still showing in the search console. How can I fix this?
Don't worry about that, if you fixed the issue then it will be gone from the search console within few weeks to few months. If the Live page test is fine then no need to worry about those urls.

I found a good method to fix this, it slows my website indexing, so whenever you're requesting an index, at ?m=1 at the end of the url. The url will be indexed in seconds. but when using it without the ?m=1 it will just return redirect error and take days to index
I didn't get it.. Its blogger who controls the m=1 urls. Can explain more in detail as it might be helpful for channel viewers!
@LetsCreateYourWEBSITE since i noticed the problem, i discovered that the redirect problem was because the ?m=1 redirect. Which is a blogger thing, it redirects Any search bot or any mobile user to the ?m=1. Since google has prioritized their indexing for Mobile bot, the bot will discover a redirect and return an error which will label the whole url as a page redirect error until, and only until, a desktop bot crawls in. Continuing, mobile google bot will crawl the page you want to index, in which it didn't have the ?m=1, and they will find a redirect that will stop them. they may even not index the page at all and forget about sometimes if a desktop google bot didn't crawl it, but it will get indexed eventually (Hopefully).
now i'll give an example. let's summarize:
1- You ask google to index you page "example.com/something.html"
2- google prioritize the mobile google bot, therefore, a mobile bot will crawl the page first. Subsequently, the bot will be redirected to "example.com/something.html?m=1".
3- page redirect error occurs.
4- google labeled the url as page redirect error
5- bad day
now how can we prevent this? I still don't know.
how can we avoid the page redirect and index faster?: Request index for the example.com/something.html?m=1 so the mobile bot won't be redirected
Google will know that the canonical url is example.com/something.html so don't worry
That's why when you come across "Redirect Error" you submit "Request Index" for your mobile version URL (Url with m=1)
The reason why might be because Sitemap include all your original urls or desktop version urls and Google uses
Googlebot smartphone to crawl URLs
So if anyone remove m=1 they Useally get "Redirect Error "..... And their whole blogger site not being indexed at all because Google Uses

as you said when I check through inspect , I can't see m=1. every thing is well . my domian name, post every thing is ok. .but in search console my main domain url and 1 single post url show m=1 .that is in search counsel so how to fix this.
hello, as I explained in the video that do not worry about this as you can't control m=1 it is a blogger feature to display the mobile pages.

hello, so for blogger if you do not have enough content on the pages then you will see soft 404 errors. Regarding m=1 you cannot do anything about it. it is how blogger works.

So these pages ?m=1 are considered as indexed? If not then will google show ads on these pages on mobile?
So these are not some different pages, they are just url to display the blog pages in the mobile format. ofcourse ads will be displayed in the mobile view when the pages will be shown as m=1 . In a nutshell, you do not need to take any action or worry about m=1 pages, this is how blogger works and the ads will be displayed on them totally fine.

hey brother, seems you have not set up the TITLE and META DESCRIPTION for the home page. Check my recent video on Rank Math plugin and do the proper on boarding process after installing plugin which will set up your title and meta for the website. Let me know how it went. also there are many useful tips in that video for your website SEO.

So alternate page with canonical tag is not a problem, but it says validation failed.
if you try to force google to choose which is not canical without a valid reason then it will for sure fail the verification, watch the video again to udestand also I have another video on canonical watch that to understand the overall concept

there is no code for blogger to remove m=1 errors, it is the default way blogger server the mobile pages. it is not an issue you can fix it's google need to stop showing this as an issue in the reports.

hello dear, depends on what kind of website it is. If it is self hosted wordpress or any other framework you can do it: if it is blogger then we don't have enough options, sadly! what kind of website you have got ?
Its e-commerce web application with multiple products pages so they have created multiple pages with startIndex parameter and we are getting issues for these pages for Canonical tag.
@@sagarkarade it is very common on the ecommerce websites as most of the content on the pages are same. try adding more detailed info about the products so google can understand that those are different pages and do not choose canonical page itself

Bro, because m=1 is not an error and you do not need to do anything about it. adding the js code is the wrong way to deal things. so leave the worry about the m=1 pages and everyone who is telling to add js code is going to hurt your website.
