Same. Got to watch him come down the aisle, as a kid, in the early 90's, this was right after his tag team says. He was yoked to the max. I actually had sodium issues on a physical in sports that made the doctors scratch their head, as I tried to copy his "so called diet," crushing the tun way to much, lol.
I also remember that I never got his attention, (which admittedly, in character, I probably would've pee'd my pants, lol), when I kept yelling "where's Slick at?"
      Man, memory lane.

It's really cool to hear guys like Warlord. They're pretty rare in that there's no bitterness, nothing bad to say about anyone and they're just grateful. The shoot interviews with guys going at each other, they're fun but...laid back, humble, appreciative guys like Warlord are really refreshing.

He walked right past me at a show late 80’s early 90’s.

It's a shame that most wrestlers look alike. I've likened this to Tekken or Soul Calibur. There's a variation of characters based of their ability, look, size, speed, fighting style and strength. There's a distinction between all of them. Your imagination can run wild just wondering how two different characters would match up. Wrestling no longer has that unfortunately.

I have to repeat the word everybody else keeps using for this guy: *Humble*
Awesome seeing him give this interview. Seems genuine, happy, in good health and the first thing out of his mouth about any of his old school colleagues is positive.
He and _The Godfather_ are the two former wrestlers who have impressed me the most with their interviews. No negativity, no hate, no blowing their own trumpets needlessly... Just seems like they look back fondly and have lead a great life

Luger started in the Florida territory. He seemed like a decent guy, eager to work and learn, trained by Hiro Matsuda who coached many wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan. Luger developed the narcissist complex in real life later on after he moved from Florida. Rick Steiner looked like a tough guy and apparently was in real life. Good to see the Warlord comment on these guys.

All thru these Warlord shoots (and most shoot interviews) ive been thinking id love to hear him talk about Bossman.
    That was so satisfying.
He was so unbelievably skillful with the nightstick! The way he would spin, twist and roll it was immense.
Rest in paradise Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor.
Absolute icon of WWF mainstream glory days. Had the heel run opposite Hogan and then became his main ally for a while, now that is top card/main event positioning FACT. Then came the feud against the Heenan Family topped off with an IC title match v Perfect at Wrestlemania 7 then that Summer the iconic jailhouse match v Mountie
    Thank you Bossman

He’s 100% right about Bob Backlund living his gimmick. Mr. Backlund used to come into my restaurant all the time, and whenever he was a baby face, he was the most engaging person you could encounter, but when he turned heel, he would come in and not talk at all to the very same people. If you open the dictionary and look up keeping kayfabe, you’ll see his picture.
