I had no plans on getting this figure... But seeing his alternate head, wow, that is a definitive Skeletor figure!
He is my favorite for sure if this line.

There are little pegs on the cape-shoulderpiece so you can clip it on his regular shoulderpiece. In your video you just throw it on there, and then it looks goofy. If you use the pegs, it sits where it needs to sit.
I mean, one of the shin pads was backwards the entire video lol. A bit low effort for this one it seems.
Dan why didn’t you correct the right shin guard? 🤔
I just checked my figure and the shin guard rotates all the way round and you can even rotate the foot around to fit the right way (if it was reversed during packaging)
This was bugging me the whole video. 😅

That original revelations skeletor put me off from getting this whole line, but have been picking them up now that they're putting out better versions of the characters like this. Easily the best figure in the line.
Same here. The first figures made me uninterested in this line. But they are getting better and better. I agree this one is their best so far.

The nostalgia, I use to watch your channel on a daily basis back in 2014, especially the slime videos and trash packs videos of yours, it’s a shame that you aren’t getting the views you once use to get, you definitely deserve more people viewing, you can tell how much you enjoy doing what you do.

Standing next to The Classics Skeletor this guy seems like how Cobra Commander was in GI Joe Resolute, Play time is Over. New Eternia looks like some R-rated Conan level mayhem.
To be honest, at some point, I could not pay attention to the video anymore, waiting for Dan to mention that inverted armor on his right leg!!
For whatever reason, he's left his spun his around backwards. I've just checked my copy, and you can easily fix this. Just spin the foot around and rotate the shin. Probably Dan was just too tired to notice.
This Skeletor looks so good! I love that the belt buckle is kind of like the face on Snake Mountain.
this figure is so awesome, very fun to play with and pose, but I had the most fun kitbashing the heck out of him with parts from the other masterverse figure as well as parts from Origins figures as well. I came up with my own versions of two very interesting regular and new eternia Skeletors!
It's all basically the same body, but I am liking this one so much more than the Revelations Skeletor!
I love this figure, the best regular Skeletor in ages, especially with the classic head sculpt.
This is the best one from the New Eternia line, closely followed by Beastman.
This Skeletor looks like Skeletors older brother who's named Lance, is much more successful, has a nicer castle, his girlfriend is hotter, and was the first one to give mama Skeletor grandkids lol.
I absolutely love the way this Skeletor looks with the hood head sculpt and the Havoc staff
If you have to choose between getting the series 1 skeletor or this one, pick the second one!!!!
Im waiting for a masterverse 2002 versions of Skeletor, King Hiss, and Hordak. As far as a He-Man figure goes, the MOTU classics He-Man is the definitive one for me. The build and facial sculpt was perfect. On the masterverse line, the skinnier look works with the villians better than the bulky muscular look. None of them should be as massive and muscular as He-Man. I would love to see a Frank Langella Skeletor in the masterverse line

My MOTU Masterverse New Eternia Skeletor arrived last week from BBTS and I am very impressed overall. The classic head sculpt and Havoc Staff really hit the nostalgia vibe for me. The new barbarian design is pretty wild looking and the box art is amazing.
The classic 2008 Havoc stuff looks good on this figure too!

I think Masterverse is just Classics done right, ie. available at retail with fair prices.
I just got mine, I figured the bearded head sculpt was related to demo man like it's his demo side coming out

This is a perfect classic modern Skeletor.
Masterverse, New Eternia, and Revelations have become my favorites due to the size and cool accessories. I'm actually looking into getting rid of all of the Origins figures I have now. I've become such a fan of the seven inch versions and now the five or five and a half inch figures just don't look good to me as they once did haha.
When I saw the original Revelations Masterverse figures I wasn't that into the look of them and thought this line wasn't for me, especially after Classics, but after actually getting this Skeletor in hand, not only does he look and feel amazing, but he brings enough new to the table and has enough value in the package that yeah, I'm going to have to get in on some Masterverse action.
I do agree painting the nails black would have made the figure really pop out

If I do get one of these I am updating the paint deco, the body needs a wash. The beard needs a wash, the rivets and other details need some paint and the fingers and toes need paint

This looks more like the original character, than the first released Skeletor we received from Masterverse. I only wish the knee guard’s were the same.

I like this version versus the Masterverse revelations version. The revelations version has the better looking havoc staff though.
I went OG style head, kept the cape, and hid the sword under said cape.
I am not locked into the original filmation figures, but like the new ones to look similar to my childhood memories.
The revelations He-man sucked, as did the origins v1, but v2 looked good, as did the 40th anniversary He-man.
I only have a couple of the New Eternia figures, but I didn't even mind the concept He-man.
Was I the only one flipping out over the backwards shin?

the armor/cape piece sucks. mattel couldn't even bother to have it connect with the harness in any way so it can't sit right on the figure and looks cheap.
It connects, there are little notches under the Armor which fixes onto the Armor straps below - most reviewers are missing this detail.
It's unfortunate that the head and the armor overlay are placed on such a boring buck. That cape piece just flopping around on top of otherwise reused makes it look like it was an after thought. That said, he puts that awful Revelations Skeletor to shame.
Hate that Matel makes him look like he can't afford boots. They continue to look ridiculous as they continue to make him look like this. And that GREEN skull??? Ughh.....just make it white already!
None of these new He-Man figures appeal to me. The articulation is great but the facial expressions and the body types they use are just off. I wish they would redo the 200k figures with better articulation like they are doing with their classics line.
Sorry, but if I bought this, the beard skull and centurion armour would be going straight in the trash, also, the blue/green skin just reminds me of how the old toy plastic goes gross and yellow over the years. So it’s a hard nope from me.

The 1st Masterverse Skeletor is complete trash in every way. This New Eternia Skeletor is what should have been the standard model!
That’s a bit harsh, I love the Revelation figure, it’s well built, is pretty much the same as this figure buck wise apart from the feet and for arms. It is an animated interpretation though, which may turn some buyers off who don’t like a cartoony looking skeletor. I think the main thing I had an issue with was the skull wasn’t painted consistently, some were really black washed and some were on the whiter side (like mine)
This Figures feels incomplete to me, why is his fingernails unpainted?
