The people who are aficionados and fans of basketball (not fans of teams, players, or the nba but basketball in general) loved it because they played perfect basketball. They had flawless execution, flawless work ethic, flawless chemistry, and it showed on the court. Beautiful basketball and I miss it
Edit: you see other teams playing hero ball meanwhile GS makes 5-10 passes every possession before they find the open man then go on the other side and play disciplined defense. It was how the game was meant to played and we were lucky to see it

People don't realize that Lebron and Chris Paul were the reason KD was able to join the Warriors because they were instrumental in having the salary cap expanded all in one season instead of smoothed over several seasons so they could get those $40 million contracts..
in all fairness, the Warriors had a very easy decision to make...either pay Harrison Barnes 25 millions/yr or pay a couple of millions extra for KD to come even if it meant losing a couple bench players...

The roster construction around Prime Harden was almost perfect with CP3, if they had health, a little better depth and Capela had range they would've won at least 1 chip.
