Aw yes! Been waiting to hear a shadow stage remix from you. Shadow is one of my favorite characters in the franchise. And his stage music in SA2 was always great to hear. The remixes in forces are great as well. This is a very different yet familiar take on the song and honestly. If Shadow were ever featured in a pure 2D sonic game I could totally see this as one of the tracks. Excellent job as always Turret!

This really isn't like Classic Forces at all. Forces' psuedo-Genesis used detoned synths which made them sound more like GBA chiptunes instead. The Genesis sound here is more faithful to an actual Genesis minus the limitations of the hardware and factors like TV static bogging it down. Yes, when trying to make a 16-bit type of chiptune, there are going to be some obvious similarities, but there's still enough potential for different musical styles.

no, it's a remix of a remix. first came the original from SA2, then the remix from Forces, then this remix which was mostly based on the Forces remix.
