The 'late' great composer Angelo Badalamenti would love your presets too. They ooze atmosphere and sound like they have a story to tell as wel. Thank you for sharing and the fabulous demos that go with your user libraries. Wishing you a wonderful week, and a lot of positive surprises 'at the other side of the mountain'!
Really great sounds! Thank you for sharing your work. On MacOS, the user library location is /Users//Library/Application Support/8dio/Soundpaint/. I didn't have a userLibrary.lib file by default, but after saving a custom patch, Soundpaint created it.
Love to hear your thoughts on the latest version 2.5. It just came out, with amongst the many updates: the browser (shorter names, sort by tag), option of color coded keyswitching, adding a picture and notes to programs and Soundpaint programs now have a randomizer and up to 8 parts!
Soundpaint has an export/import feature for programs. Maybe it didn't exist when you first posted this. (I don't know. I'm new to Soundpaint.) But now that it exists, would you be willing to export these programs for us to import?
The import/export feature came out sometime after the video did. I may do a video on the latest version since it's been over a year. Just need to find some time play around with Soundpaint some more as it's been awhile.
Yes - sorry about the workaround. Soundpaint may have newer features that make copying user libraries easier. I know they were working on it when I released this video, but I have not checked the forums lately to see if this has been improved.
I never thought would find anything close to OMNISPHERE, and then you pretty much challenge the entire high price of SPECTRASONICS !!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Who would have known that a software like this could be made with less GIGABITES and less strain on the CPU ? Once I get the whole loading sample thing down, the possibilities will be endless !!! SPECTRASONICS SHOULD BE SHAKING AT THEIR NEXT SALES MEETINGS!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Yeah, there is some pretty awesome free stuff out there right now. I have 4 reverbs that I bought, but freeware Valhalla Supermassive is probably my favorite.
so, I put the Artic Fox dot lib file in my AppData/8Dio folder, re-scanned the library from SoundPaint, and...nothing. No sign of the Artic Fox presets (which, thanks for giving away your work)...what am I missing?
William, check out the last section of the video and it shows you what to do. You will have to rename your userLibrary.lib file to something else (so you don't overwrite it) and then copy the arctic fox file and rename it to userLibrary.lib. Currently Soundpaint only allows one library file and there is no easy way to copy a large number of patches into an existing user library. If you want to go back to your personal user library, then you just delete the userLibrary.lib file and copy your original library (the one you renamed) to that file name again. Hope that helps.
Try this link instead. There's a newer video out & I updated the library with more presets. Let me know if this link doesn't work. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qiwc6lK116osRbDZ3AukrXP2xTr3u0rB?usp=drive_link
Thanks for these awesome libraries. What a generous gift.
You’re welcome!
Thank you Arctic! This is beautiful work!
I'm glad you like it.🙂

Thanks Hyper! He's a great composer so that's quite a compliment. You have a wonderful week as well.

Thanks eakwarren! Very useful information.
Thanks bro..
Very Nice Work, Arctic! You just hit 800 subs.
Thanks. Hopefully we get to 1k this year!
Love this app. And thanks for the library.
You bet! Enjoy using it.

I just downloaded it yesterday buy haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I'll probably do a video on it once I check it out.

I second this! Either way need my regular job to be over so I can install this tonight!

@@arcticfoxstudios2018 Thanks. It'll take less than 3 minutes. I hope you find time soon. 😊
Stupid Norton won't let me install it...
Thanks For This U are appreciated
You're welcome James. Let me know if you use any of the patches in anything you create.
@@arcticfoxstudios2018 I will and I definitely am
So the only way to play my own previously saved User Lib is to name yours back to Arctic Fox and rename "MyLib" to "user lib"? That's awkward.

pensi che tutti abbiano un PC???
Scusa, non ho un mac. La directory per un mac è in un commento sopra.
