Tbh i really believe he kept that 10% bc the fight wasn't over and Hakuno still needed him to fight in the holy war. Anyway, it's really sweet that the same guy who didn't want to lent her anything to pass over Rin's money system did that for her.
Considering berserker Enkidu is him while still in Divine Clay form, i can see why since Enkidu lack actual intellect but far more powerful than his Lancer counterpart.
I loved Hakunon and Gil's journey through all this. He really sacrificed 90% of his treasures for her (10% is still a lot) which says a lot. Only Enkidu has gotten 100% but this was definitely close. Then he took her to another world for another adventure lol I absolutely love these two and I do hope we get an anime of this route. I know I'm late into this but I absolutely loved this! I appreciate all the hardwork!

There are many who speculate that Hakunon's Berserker servant is Enkidu. 1. Being the link to attracting Gil while in the void. 2. Her point of view during Gil's SG events are not on Gil himself but with his friend.
I find it funny how even though Gil is banished to the Far Side for being to OP, Enkidu (who is just as OP) is implied to be summoned to the Near Side. It's like the moon itself doesn't like Gilgamesh.

Also, I don't suppose Hakunon had a pact with Enkidu (Berserker) because Gil mentioned that Berserker with a sense of contempt. He called the Berserker 'a dog', which he would never use to call his best friend.
And its a bloody damn shame we NEVER got Fate/Extra CCC. The fact that the whole reason Gilgamesh in Fate Extella chose Altera's side was solely because of the Gilgamesh playthrough in this game is pretty awesome in its own right.
Wow...Gil called her MASTER, out of all his summoners/contracters, it was she that he regarded with high esteem so as to refer to her as MASTER. Not only that, but he gave 90 PERCENT of his treasury to save her. Amd he declares himself her sword, that her enemy is his enemy too. Dear goodness, the pairing might as well as be canon. I NEED this to be animated, please shaft!

Dude, this was amazing. So much effort must have gone into this. I must admit that I had my reservations about experiencing CCC this way at first since I am not usually a fan of Gil's pompous act at all, but now coming out the end I daresay that his characterisation as he subtly opened up to Hakunon was the most endearing part of this entire story. Stories carried by the characters complexities are definitely the best. And ofc Hakunon and Gilgamesh relationship development is definitely the cherry on the top. It didn't felt forced, nor too Ooc, it was perfect in every single sense, it's like everything fits, like a piece on a particularly hard puzzle. Gosh... that was too beautiful for my little heart Gilgamesh is my favourite character of all series and I started watching this because I wanted to know more about him and the Holy Grail War in the moon (I watched Last Encore but I didn't understand a lot (but even if this anime was unclear, I was still interested and I discovered Nero who is one of my favourite fate female character now) and then I started playing FGO and I saw a lot of unknown Servants like Meltryllis, Andersen or Kiara. At this point, Fate became my favourite idk the name and I wanted to know as much as possible about the nasuverse so it was normal to me to be interested in the Extra/Extella games too). And Extra CCC proved that I was right about Gil. He's a fantastic character and I'm so so glad that this game has exploited his full potential and showed him in all his glory. Yeah he often act like an asshole but when you think about what he says he's surprisingly often right (even if his way of saying is sometimes rude and like Shirou says : just because you're correct doesn't mean you're right haha) and his too-arrogant and tsundere side is fking hilarious. Oh and about this end this is why we like Gil : he's always in exaggeration haha I'm so glad to have the Gil gang in my Chaldea (Archer Gil answered my calls already two times and each time ,as he says, I spent all my luck for the following week in addition for throwing me in QP hell) I aslo promised myself to have the three of them full grailed and all one day and after this I'm more determined than ever Babylonia has reconciled a lot of people with him even if he's more wise and likeable there, but his archer self also needed an opportunity to shine and CCC gave him this chance. It's just too sad that the game wasn't localized and that it's not very popular. By the way this game is so good for the character development and Hakunon analyzing every thing help for the comprehension. We need more Fate content like this because all of Fate characters deserve such development. I can't wait to play at Fate/Extra Record it's gonna be a good opportunity to discover even more about this Holy Grail War. I hope it will get a french translation it would help me to understand way much better because sometimes its really complicated to understand everything (but sadly I don't think there will be one because Extella link didn't have one) and I hope CCC will have a (hum...more appropriate) remake too and why not an anime adaptation (of Gil's route with Hakunon of course haha) In any case, thank you so much for your videos and your hard work It was really nice to discover this story during these 90 videos instead of just reading it

Actually...in my headcanon earlier in the video, I would have wanted Hakunon to thank Gil and say goodbye, and it slightly bothered me that she didn't; the reset implied she might not ever see him again since Gil didn't exist as a normal option in the near side. (I guess the MC isn't that intuitive to what was going to happen...) But with this, in my headcanon I can hear him say his version of "You can't get rid of me that easily!" (maybe something like, "Fool! Only the king should dismiss his vassals. You did not have my permission to leave my side.") That ending... "I opened my cemented eyes to see...A CG!" (just kidding!) For all the false moments the story could have ended as per "anime" story endings tend to go, that final ending scene was kinda beautiful... Thank you for all your work translating this game, Zero. Your work shines light on how much there is to enjoy in it for us who can't read Japanese, various things that make various combinations of things everyone can enjoy. :)

This game has left a huge impact on me. Even my favorite story driven games never absorbed me as much as the plot in this game has. I'm probably going to be obsessed with these characters for a long time. Hopefully Extella Link doesn't end up being the end for the Extra timeline. Waiting for the Switch version to come out in March, and have avoided spoilers like the plague, so I naturally know nothing of the ending.

I find it funny how even though Gil is banished to the Far Side for being to OP, Enkidu (who is just as OP) is implied to be summoned to the Near Side. It's like the moon itself doesn't like Gilgamesh.

In Fate/GO, Enkidu said he had left something to Gil, which could help the one who would travel with Gil in the future to get to know him.

@@oscarfaria662 I guess you mean the part when Hakunon saw Gil's past through Enkidu's dream...That's SG2 though. And I think this Fate/GO story of Enkidu finally explained why Hakunon can do that. Also, I don't suppose Hakunon had a pact with Enkidu (Berserker) because Gil mentioned that Berserker with a sense of contempt. He called the Berserker 'a dog', which he would never use to call his best friend.
And its a bloody damn shame we NEVER got Fate/Extra CCC. The fact that the whole reason Gilgamesh in Fate Extella chose Altera's side was solely because of the Gilgamesh playthrough in this game is pretty awesome in its own right.

Dude, this was amazing. So much effort must have gone into this. I must admit that I had my reservations about experiencing CCC this way at first since I am not usually a fan of Gil's pompous act at all, but now coming out the end I daresay that his characterisation as he subtly opened up to Hakunon was the most endearing part of this entire story. God this was a really good journey, i wasn't expecting this much when i first started to play this game and watch the walkthrough. Stories carried by the characters complexities are definitely the best.
And ofc Hakunon and Gilgamesh relationship development is definitely the cherry on the top. It didn't felt forced, nor too Ooc, it was perfect in every single sense, it's like everything fits, like a piece on a particularly hard puzzle. Im glad i saw this gilgamesh, it made love his character.
Btw, thanks for your hard work, making all those videos must have been really REALLY hard. But thanks to you i knew this game, it really is one of my favorites from now on.

Gilgamesh is my favourite character of all series and I started watching this because I wanted to know more about him and the Holy Grail War in the moon (I watched Last Encore but I didn't understand a lot (but even if this anime was unclear, I was still interested and I discovered Nero who is one of my favourite fate female character now) and then I started playing FGO and I saw a lot of unknown Servants like Meltryllis, Andersen or Kiara. At this point, Fate became my favourite idk the name and I wanted to know as much as possible about the nasuverse so it was normal to me to be interested in the Extra/Extella games too). And Extra CCC proved that I was right about Gil. He's a fantastic character and I'm so so glad that this game has exploited his full potential and showed him in all his glory. Yeah he often act like an asshole but when you think about what he says he's surprisingly often right (even if his way of saying is sometimes rude and like Shirou says : just because you're correct doesn't mean you're right haha) and his too-arrogant and tsundere side is fking hilarious. Oh and about this end this is why we like Gil : he's always in exaggeration haha

Babylonia has reconciled a lot of people with him even if he's more wise and likeable there, but his archer self also needed an opportunity to shine and CCC gave him this chance. It's just too sad that the game wasn't localized and that it's not very popular.
By the way this game is so good for the character development and Hakunon analyzing every thing help for the comprehension. We need more Fate content like this because all of Fate characters deserve such development.
I can't wait to play at Fate/Extra Record it's gonna be a good opportunity to discover even more about this Holy Grail War. I hope it will get a french translation it would help me to understand way much better because sometimes its really complicated to understand everything (but sadly I don't think there will be one because Extella link didn't have one) and I hope CCC will have a (hum...more appropriate) remake too and why not an anime adaptation (of Gil's route with Hakunon of course haha)

they are still in the digital world, I think (GIl explains to Hakuno that they are in the moon-cell-like machine overlooking that solar system's version of Humanity)

Actually...in my headcanon earlier in the video, I would have wanted Hakunon to thank Gil and say goodbye, and it slightly bothered me that she didn't; the reset implied she might not ever see him again since Gil didn't exist as a normal option in the near side. (I guess the MC isn't that intuitive to what was going to happen...)
But with this, in my headcanon I can hear him say his version of "You can't get rid of me that easily!" (maybe something like, "Fool! Only the king should dismiss his vassals. You did not have my permission to leave my side.")
That ending... "I opened my cemented eyes to see...A CG!" (just kidding!) For all the false moments the story could have ended as per "anime" story endings tend to go, that final ending scene was kinda beautiful...

This game has left a huge impact on me. Even my favorite story driven games never absorbed me as much as the plot in this game has. I'm probably going to be obsessed with these characters for a long time. Hopefully Extella Link doesn't end up being the end for the Extra timeline. Waiting for the Switch version to come out in March, and have avoided spoilers like the plague, so I naturally know nothing of the ending.

Thanks a lot for the format of the translation of this game. Makes the scenes a lot more enjoyable. Been wanting to experience this game since I beat Extra a yr and a half ago. I know a ton of ENG fans have been waiting years longer, but now a full route is available due to ppl like u and the awesome community. While I admit, the story wasn't as entertaining as i was expecting, there were a handful of great moments and character development of ppl who were cut out short of the original game. I see that True route and Tamamo scenes are upcoming. Sweet, Tamamo is my 1st pick.
Well that marks CCC off my checklist. Oh Mahou Tsukai No Yoru and Tsukihime Remake(if it's ever released) is up next if I learn Jap or someone gets to the ENG translation. Whatever comes first
