I’m so glad you gave this hair dryer a good review as I’ve just ordered it! Another function of the cooling button is if you have styled your hair with the dryer you can just press down that button and it will cool your hair, this will set the style helping it last longer :)

Why did you buy a new dryer? The old one was less loud and wasn't worse in my opinion.
I mentioned in the intro that my dryer was old and too slow. It just wasn’t performing well.

How much
I have just bought this model. It says on the leaflet IMPORTANT! only use the nozzle on the lowest setting. Is that what you are doing, because I need a concentrated nozzle on high power!
Oooh, I don’t think mine came with that instruction, but I’ve been using the nozzle on full power without problems. I do notice the nozzle gets very hot (not surprising) so I wonder if that’s why. Might be worth asking Babyliss why they have that safety message so you could send it back if there’s an issue?

The high heat might just warp the nozzle over time, making it fit less securely. That's happened to me with other blow dryers
