Just wanted to add that there are supplements for this game listed on Drivethrurpg under 'The Hawk Wolf Network ', and not under God Emperor Games. This includes "The Adventurer's Guide to Lost Arcana", "Monsters from Mystical Lands Volume 1 - Humanoids & Undead" and "The Adventurers' Guide to Herbalism & Alchemy" and more are planned as of December last year.
I just ordered the Hardcover Black+White of this book, and I can't wait to receive it! I had 2nd Edition when it was released, but back in 2005 I gifted any of my gaming books that I couldn't afford to ship across the U.S. This included my collection of 2nd Edition AD&D books. I will be delighted to browse through this and help my wife and daughter create new characters! Excellent overview of this book! Thanks again!
I wish people would put stuff like this in the public domain. You’re never going to make any money from it, but being able to copy sections without rewriting would help the next guy. Heroes of Adventure is at least CC4, so you just need to give credit.
I bought the highest quality hardcover version of this book off of DTRPG. The quality of the POD is superb. Unfortunately, for me, this clone book gives even less information than the TSR 2e PHB, on Specialty Priests. For me, the Specialty Priest is what makes 2e my game of choice. I had hoped that I could switch to FG&G, as a valid replacement for my 2e games. I had hoped my players could buy this one book, in hardcover, instead of searching for used copies of 2e books, or going the softcover 2e POD books from DTRPG. I really love 2e, but FG&G is not as good as I had hoped. It is only a partial replacement for official 2e rules, for me. It lacks too much, so used 2e copies, POD's and PDF's, are out go-to's. YMMV. Cheers!
I don’t know when I’ll get back to DMing. I have had so many things come up with Covid, plus taking care of my Mother, my weekends have essentially disappeared. I have a D&D Cyclopedia game I play in on Wednesday nights. I might get that Tuesday 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM time slot back, but my mother’s visiting hours start at 2:00 and end at 6:00. Just crazy time. I will let you know when things settle down.

Yes, and in about 2-3 weeks I will have my first adventure for FG&G published on DrivethruRPG under my own label R.Sell Games Publishing.
Are these supplements any good? thanks.
I have a 2nd edition adventure I never finished running (Night Below). Makes me think this version of OSR rules would work good for it.

liked the cover be willing to try it hahahaha
It is essentially AD&D 2E but with less fluff and confusion and a license to write and publish using it.
