For kids growing up in the 90s, this dude was the absolute coolest guy ever. He’s a legend and was a role model on the level of Michael Jordan or Derek Jeter. THAT is how iconic and profoundly important this man was to millions of kids. I’ll always love him for that. Rest in peace brother, you deserve that peace. We will never forgot you!
Me too it was a childhood dream of mine to meet my '90s superhero idol Jason David Frank he wasn't a celebrity to me he was an actual real life superhero and most importantly he was a human being and a father and a husband he will surely be missed by millions all around the world. Such a shining beacon of light silenced and forever dimmed the world may never recover from this it may move on and continue living but it's just not the same without you here Jason David Frank. I have counted each and every last day since the 19th of November since his passing since they found him in that bathroom. Words cannot express the depth of sorrow and sadness that I feel toward the loss of such a amazing kind-hearted gentle human being. May he find the peace he couldn't find in life may the power protect him. And in the words of the OG Red ranger Austin St John put it best when he said "ONCE A RANGER ALWAYS A RANGER BROTHA 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔"
My heart is broken can't believe your gone Jason you made my childhood complete my hero you will be missed by everyone we love you rest in piece 💔💔😣😣💔💔💗💗
I'm 38 and I got caught watching it too. I was around 9 when the show came out. I remember when green ranger and white ranger came out we all lost our minds. Those characters made the show. It's horrible the way he went out, my heart goes out to his family.
I remember the Ninja Zords arc that aired during the summer at around 3pm for a full week. This was the most anticipated arc ever because the power rangers had actually lost and had their Zords destroyed, so they needed to find new ones. I was outside with my friend and lost track of time. I realized that the show was gonna start in 20mins, so I told him I had to run home and took right off. Right as I rounded a corner a kid on the bike did too and we collided at full speed. The kid got flipped off his bike and I got a large bloody gash on my right arm, but I didn't care. I just had to get home, so I ran with a bleeding arm just to get back in time. I'm a grown man now and that scar is still on my arm, but I got to see the Power Rangers, so I wouldn't change a thing 😏
I don’t think there is a celebrity that matches his level of charisma and how watchable he is. This one hurt the most, and I’ll miss him and all the what could have been very much.
Oh most definitely I couldn't agree more our childhood '90s idol passed away are '90s superhero is gone forever and it's never coming back that's the worst part.
This is still so incredibly sad JDF was the most caring, cool, and genuine human beings. Need more of that today which makes it even harder to know he's gone. We always lose the good ones too soon.
I'm 38 and I loved Power Rangers as a Kid and,I was gutted finding out about JDF passing I had a crush on him when I was 10/11 but,I also thought Tommy was bad ass.
I was gutted when I saw the twitter trending at 2am that day and didn’t go to sleep until his trainer sent that post and finally went to sleep heartbroken
I remember every day after elementary school, once I got home I had to wait for Barney the dinosaur to end so I could watch Power Ranger. I remember those times, I remember how pumped I was get to watch the latest episodes. Your dedication to you fandom and your passion was the best part of watching you as a grown adult, we will have to get by without you. but your memory lives on with us. RIP Jason.
This is such a nice video. You see so many of these celebrities half assing cameos and just knocking them out one after another as fast as possible. Instead he actually takes the time to really put effort in and make someone's day, you can tell he actually cared.
I have a shout out video of 15 second shout out video from jdf I want one of his Instagram shout out contests I watched that a few times a week. It's a very valuable treasured memory of mine
the way he says "good on you, buddy" and points to the camera, after stating the guy got caught watching Power Rangers is such a JDF thing to do lmao. Been following JDF on insta for such a long time. Practically saw Jenna grow from a child to an adult, through his insta. He was the only Power Ranger I cared about and after hearing about his passing, it really tore me up inside. The dude was such a badass. I can't believe this is how it ended :/
He did you a solid, I don't want to be tacky and ask you how much you paid but regardless of what it was I sense that he put his full energy and heart into this!
I don't know too much about JDF, but I was a huge fan of Power Rangers, when the episodes were airing for the first time. I lost interest once Zeo started - the original cast and some of the earlier replacement cast were best, in my opinion! It is sad and shocking to think that JDF ended his own life. It was apparent to me that he understood his influence on his fans, especially those younger than him. He always seems energetic and optimistic - it is hard to accept that we have lost him, too soon, even though he was held fondly by fans like me who never even met him. If you are struggling, please reach out to a friend. It is okay to reach out to a stranger, too, in moments of crisis. Everyone has value. Everyone has the opportunity to influence a life.
Really hope JDF got as much love before his passing as he's got since. I grew up watching him on Power Rangers since the beginning and got to meet him a few times throughout the years. Was a really awesome guy...down to Earth, humble, funny, and loved his fans. So many actors hate when they get typecast for a certain role, but he embraced and appreciated it. Rest in peace Green Ranger
Rip jason. I was a big fan. I saw all the ranger show he was in. I played the while ranger at a far before. It was great. You will truly be missed. Peace my brother. Gone to soon.
The more videos I see around the time of his demise, the harder time I'm having....I'm missing something...this doesn't sound like a guy that wants to end it all...
I'm literally re watching Dino thunder because of hearing about the man's passing. It literally was my first power rangers show that got me into power rangers back when I was a kid and man it breaks my heart watching the episodes, even watching this I'm like I can't believe he is gone.
I grew up with Dino thunder and I remember getting into mighty morphin because my uncle said "oh its Tommy the white ranger" I paused the recording and looked and asked "what's the white rangers" couple hours later we were sing the intro to mighty Morphin and I passed this to my cousins who absolutely enjoyed watching it they said while yelling and I quote "it's morphing time "when I showed them Dino thunder then did the whiter rangers Morphin motions so even after the 90s and early 2000s he still roll model for kids rip to of the greats
Thnx alot rob fornur channel, i almost cry everytime when JDF does a caneo, he is so carring and real, he will be forver missed😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭my hero singe the 1st green ranger episode way back in the 90's

He was a really great guy. I'm sure it was a privilege to know him, for those who did, and I was trying to nail his karate yell, evil laugh, and tornado kick since I was like 7.... maybe I was 8....if it was early 93 I was 7, by the summer turned 8, not important. I'm stoned right now. Anyway, this guy was the coolest power ranger ever. I admit, I literally just stopped watching after the end of the green ranger for like 4 episodes and when he came back, I started watching again when he came back 😂 I stopped at Zeo though. Didn't like it at all, but I tuned in every Dino Thunder episode 😂 plus a y of his guest appearances. I will really miss his channel. Such an inspiration. We all lost a true champion
For jdf to do something like that he had to have felt like there was no way out of his divorce situation and that is soon to be ex-wife backed him in such a corner he felt like there was no escape. Once a ranger always a ranger. May the power protect you... Rip jdf p
Him being gone is some total BS like how many celebs are this cool 😎. Dude is so down to earth. It's a shame they never made an adult power rangers series. I would have loved to see the Drakkon storyline on the big screen.
I still feel that he is alive Jason nobody will take your place why did you commit suicide if you had some problems you could have shared it with your fans. Love you Jason ❤️❤️😭❤️❤️❤️ Jason was the father and soul of power rangers. #itsmorphintime #RIPJDF

Very unfortunate situation he got himself into that he can not ever get himself out of. Such a shame and like you said smart people think things through before they take action.
