Yeah man I’m doing you a solid by taking your rest off putting a better one on it but I don’t have time to set it up for you so have fun shooting it like that!!! Oh yeah by the way stand around in my driveway while I go eat for 45 min!! That’s some crap!!
I feel the same way about group vs solo hunting. I hate worrying about everyone else or trying to hear a bunch of opinions before making a decision. I’d rather just be in my own head and be quick about decisions and have no one else to blame but me for the outcome
Bro walked out of there with a few hundred bucks worth of great gear and a five year head start on some quality info. Excellent video and podcast ElkShape crew!
Dan, I am still somewhat new to archery game, about 3 months in. I was fortunate enough to be successful with a whitetail hunt here in Texas, I just want to say this series is probably my most favorite by far, and has been the most informative I’ve seen. Your knowledge is unreal and I hope you can continue this series to keep dumping info. Thank you!
This was so cool. There's nothing like getting top-tier advice and equipment. I'm calling it right now. He'll have a bull down this season for sure. Best of luck, Kramer.
Such an informative video Dan. I love how real and brutally honest elk hunting is. Went out the last 2 years and hunted hard but haven’t killed an elk yet. Would love for the elk wizard himself to teach this Texas boy the ropes. 🤙🏽
I always have a backup when I travel. I dont elk hunt, I have once a few years ago, and it wasn't for me. But I do travel all around the country whitetail hunting. And last year in Kansas I had my mathews derail, and it was before SAF. Luckily I had my z7 with me and just ran back to camp, made sure everything was good, and went and hunted again with 2 hours. So dan your right, that's really important if your far away from shops. Great video.
Can't believe I was in the Spokane area and unaware MFJJ's archery shop is there. I had three days to fill in after filling my turkey tags in Washington and Idaho much quicker than expected. I'll be making contact next spring. Thanks for your content. I do wonder, though, if you could keep up with me in the mountains. I'm 73 years old. Best wishes and remember to ignore the haters.
Magnus stinger buzz cuts are the best cut on contact you can buy ,fly like darts and are razor sharp right out of the box.Dan saying they are dull not a chance.
I am so glad you continued this series. I was excited for the beginning and my jaw dropped when you said you hadn’t heard from dude and he dropped off all your stuff on your porch. As somewhat if a new hunter and just buying my first now last year, loving by this series!
Hi Dan I'm a truck driver from Wisconsin and I am 65 pretty good shape I would like some recommendations on a work out for a truck driver. Like the the Podcast just found you 2 months ago also like Josh's Podcast Thank you and God's Blessings on all your adventures
oh that porch light height is hilarious i hope mfjj never sees that, that would make a great episode on its own though with just the jokes he'd throw your way
I will be coming through spokane in september 8-17th would love to meet you and shoot a few arrows. I plan on getting my bow tuned at podium archery right before my planned elk hunt in Idaho. I live there so I have a good amount of time to try to find an elk but really need some pointers. I also solo hunt. Never bagged a big game animal but have went out turkey and grouse hunting.
Fly good til they hit a scapula. Cost me a 330" bull last year. Upgraded to 80 lbs /30" draw and valkrie. Couldn't believe they didn't penetrate better on a 65' bow.
Kramer is a good dude with a positive get after it attitude. I can already tell. Very inquisitive to which definitely will help progression. With a couple tweaks here and there including the must have gear you mentioned he will be successful. I’m impressed. So this series format is going to go from one person’s journey in the original idea to a mini Elk Shape camp mentor session with a few subs to get them ready for season? I dig that idea as well.
@@ElkShape yes I definitely will dig it. I would like to see a video after season that brings them all back and talk about what they learned through their experiences in September (hopefully one to remember). 😎🏹
What would you recommend as setting your goal time for with this workout? What number does someone need to be below for you to consider them elk fit ready 💪

"Portable bow presses are dangerous".... best statement ever made! Too many folks rely on having one but have no clue as to what they're doing.

Looks like I’m coming to Spokane for Elkshape Camp
So much love for you Dan! So genuine and willing to help us rookies 🤘🏻

💯💯💯
He seems very prepared to do it.
@@jeckol3200 He's definitely got a great head start.
Dan.. the 4 day Elkshape plan sounds awesome.
Love this series Dan! So generous of you and such a huge benefit to a newbie. Solid!

I really like this format. You're fixing bows and spewing knowledge

Loving this series! Dan hooking a brother up, love seeing that. We need more people like that. Great example of what is growing the sport.
I am from louisiana and have a dream to take a bull elk with a bow. I would gladly come to yall for this series.

I really appreciate this channel. You have been a huge part of my journey as a new elk hunter. Thank you Dan for the content!
Let's go! Love this series.
Appreciate it!
Can’t wait to see the next episode 🙌🙌
Great video. It’s awesome to see people give back and teach people.
Great episode. Would love to see more like this.
Best freaking video I have seen on youtube. So cool man
Kramer!!! Haven’t seen you since High School man, love it
Love this content! Thanks Dan! Look forward to seeing more of Kramer!
This….. is…. Awesome!!! Such a great way to help out less knowledgeable hunters!!! Well done man!!! Hope this catches on with all the UA-cam guys!!
Love this series and looking forward to the next one!
Its a big advantage being your own bow tech and studying.
All the little things help major.
Personally, limb driven hands down.
I’m hoping he helped him fix the release. He slapped that trigger harder than a post Super Bowl high five.
lmao that zoom in to Dan's face when he heard they don't paper tune.... killed me. My first bow shop wouldn't paper tune for me either. Crazy stuff.
🤣🤣
Good job bro .hardworking gentleman at work good on ya
Great stuff. I learn something every time I watch this channel. Thanks Dan
Glad to hear it 👊🏼👊🏼

Thanks 👍
Love the series also buddy! 🤙🏻
Awesome video!
Dan out here putting other people before himself🤍 that’s why I love you Dan the man
Well said! Great job Dan!!
Informative as always Dan, appreciate you. 🙏
A nice backup bow for him would be the Hoyt Torrex if he doesn't want to blow his budget to bad...
Mathew’s bows are great but the Hoyt’s are great to both awsome bows
such great information- Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love those qad exodus broadheads!
these are great videos
Great stuff!!!

Tooth of the arrow Broadheads are great for new hunters.
Less broadhead tuning.

Great videos. Your eyes must be better than mine, cause I couldn't work on a bow in a space that dark 💡
Great video.
Thanks!

What if I do not have a fan bike? What other option would you recommend?
Lol why is that light so low in the entryway?
What would you recommend as setting your goal time for with this workout? What number does someone need to be below for you to consider them elk fit ready 💪
Just did the workout 15:27 time I am 47. Just FYI...
Great work!! Sub 20 minutes is 🤘🏼
@@ElkShape Thank you!
Good Stuff... You didn't kill him... :)
Looks like you forgot the LUT there at the beginning.
Dude is your front porch light super low or is that just the camera angle or some shit?
Nothing but positive vibes. But where did you find this guy? Cause he obviously doesn't even watch your videos.
Ok new hunter here is it a bad idea to incorporate a lot of these techniques into white tail deer hunting there are no elk in MA 😂
Eyo. Why is that front porch light so low. 😂😂😂
That drove me nuts too, told my wife many times I'm not hangin lights that low. . . .
Any update on this guy?
Why is your porch light so low? 😅
Your front porch isn't for you. It's for guests.
Just bustin yer balls, man.😅
You need to start people out slowly working out ,not push him like you did for your vedio.
