For the bus journey to Nandi Hills I arrived at the newly constructed and very nicely maintained Chikkaballapur Ksrtc bus stand.
My bus to Nandi Hills is at 12 o'clock from here.
Bus timings for Nandi Hills are
From Chikkaballapur to Nandi Hills :
7.40 AM, 10.00 AM, 12.00 PM, 2.00 PM and 4.00 PM.
From Nandhi Hills to Chikkaballapur
830 am, 11.00 am, 1.00 pm, 3.00 pm, 5.00 pm
The bus fare is Rs 28 for a journey of about 24 km.
Sometimes direct Nandi Hills buses were operated from Bangalore.
It came to know that there is no regular service.
At Majestic Bus Stand, Bangalore, buses to Andhra Pradesh depart from Terminal 3. Get buses to Chikkaballapur. This terminal is opposite the metro station
There is a trekking path from Sultanpet village to Nandi Hills. It can also be tried. Many ancient structures can be seen on the way.
Stay here for one night and enjoy the snow and cold and watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise, there is a wonderful hotel of KSTDC inside the park, rooms are available from Rs.2200 to Rs.8000. You only need to stay there for a day to enjoy the sights better than visiting in the morning.
Kstdc All hotels are named Mayura.
Entry to Nandi Hills Park is from 6 am to 5 pm. As such, tickets are not given to those who come alone. Because of the safety issue. When I asked, they said that they will not ALLOW if I am alone.. They did not tell me the reason.
Attractions
Tipu's Summer Lodge, Nehru's Holiday Home, Amrita Sarovaram Pond, Sri Yoga Nandeeswara Temple, Tipu Drop and Valley Viewpoints are the major attractions in Nandi Hills.

I visited this place in the year 2010. Very nice place. 👌 Only now I came to know that single person is not allowed to stay in the hotel. May be the reason, that some one had committed suicide. So they allow only family and group. But the presentation is 👌.

@@Josfscaria oh. My son who is a scientist in DRDO, Bangalore used to visit this hills very often with his family. He only told me that many persons committed suicide in a single year. We used to stay in the lodge for a night and returned to Blore the next day. But the food very costly, and the room is not worthy of the money,we paid. But very nice place. 👌 avidaulla ambalathirgum yan poirundu. Yettum palaia ambalamanu.

This is worst bus stand ever let me share my horrible experience here i wanted to go to Bannerghatta national park so i was waiting for a bus there i saw one bus which was not that full and was going to Bannerghatta national park i went inside the bus and that driver of that bus started abusing me for no reason and said were you want to go i said Bannerghatta he abused me and talked to me in a rude manner and said this bus is not going to Bannerghatta get lost and he started pushing me i was about to fall out of the bus but somehow i handled my self but that bus was going to Bannerghatta this is how this people talk to their customers? Shame on them
