Lavender Town as a song was just genuinely poorly composed. It's got a lot of shrill notes that can be pretty uncomfortable to expose yourself to, not because of secret murder frequencies or anything, just because they irritate the human ear. I'm glad it's been improved in remakes and other games set in Kanto.

A melody plays to both ears, but with different volumes. One side will decrease as the other decreases, then switch again. It creates this sensation of the music passing back and forth in your head.

i think there are multiple reasons: 1. the protagonist survived 2. the ending was a good one, in contrary to most video game creepypastas 3.the characters have a bit more depth to them, than your average creepypasta. 4. it had actual build-up, instead of going all 100% immediately. 5. the sprite work is phenomenal.

I’m just gonna say it, Godzilla NES is the only truly good video game CreepyPasta I’ve ever read and still love it to the day. Also yea herobrine is an actual glitched mob, not just a creepypasta or notch’s nonexisting dead brother but likely a result of various glitches causing it to pop into existence before popping back, strange mob AI, and various world generations errors among other things. Herobrine definitely isn’t just a myth although it does suffer with lots of fake sightings, misconceptions and just the minecraft fandom in general, even if his story isn’t as grand as everyone thought it was and can be simply be wrote off as the result of game quirks when under pressure. Regardless of what causes it, if you’ve seen the herobrine glitches it’s still definitely creepy and unnerving at times
@@teasukistrawbby2733 I’ve seen a enderman glitch and have a broken zombie skin stuck on it before, nothing is really stopping the game from randomly placing a broken Steve skin over a zombie or something or just accidentally spawned in a player model as a spawn error before immediately removing it almost making it appear to teleport. Minecraft has a lot of weird bugs and quirks after all and how else could you explain this?
As a super old beta player of the game, that was my immediate assumption when first actually taking a critical look into the herobrine legend. Older versions of Minecraft were incredibly unstable and strange when it came to doing certain things, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all if herobrine was just the “human” mob model randomly spawning in for no reason due to chunk loading shenanigans. The white eyes were probably just a result of fog, though, I can’t think of anything that would cause a texture to change color values like that. It’s definitely not a myth, but it’s definitely been blown out of proportion and made needlessly paranormal. It’s just a weird Java applet being weird, nothing out of the ordinary.

I actually met Cosbydaf, the guy who made the NES Godzilla Creepypasta, on a forum a few years ago. The forum was for the Kaiju Combat Kickstarter game and there was a big push to get Red and Solomon from the Creepypasta included as fighters. It got to the point where they actually got official art for the game, but the development ended up falling through and it never came out. The forum isn't even up anymore.
I think it's hilarious that when I was 12 and first experiencing creepypastas, I got too scared of the Wikipedia description of the videos to actually watch them. I've never seen Cupcakes and Squidward Takoyaki to this day because I had nightmares from the Google search summary.

I’m just gonna say it, Godzilla NES is the only truly good video game CreepyPasta I’ve ever read and still love it to the day.
Also yea herobrine is an actual glitched mob, not just a creepypasta or notch’s nonexisting dead brother but likely a result of various glitches causing it to pop into existence before popping back, strange mob AI, and various world generations errors among other things. Herobrine definitely isn’t just a myth although it does suffer with lots of fake sightings, misconceptions and just the minecraft fandom in general, even if his story isn’t as grand as everyone thought it was and can be simply be wrote off as the result of game quirks when under pressure. Regardless of what causes it, if you’ve seen the herobrine glitches it’s still definitely creepy and unnerving at times

@@teasukistrawbby2733 I’ve seen a enderman glitch and have a broken zombie skin stuck on it before, nothing is really stopping the game from randomly placing a broken Steve skin over a zombie or something or just accidentally spawned in a player model as a spawn error before immediately removing it almost making it appear to teleport. Minecraft has a lot of weird bugs and quirks after all and how else could you explain this?

As a super old beta player of the game, that was my immediate assumption when first actually taking a critical look into the herobrine legend. Older versions of Minecraft were incredibly unstable and strange when it came to doing certain things, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all if herobrine was just the “human” mob model randomly spawning in for no reason due to chunk loading shenanigans. The white eyes were probably just a result of fog, though, I can’t think of anything that would cause a texture to change color values like that. It’s definitely not a myth, but it’s definitely been blown out of proportion and made needlessly paranormal. It’s just a weird Java applet being weird, nothing out of the ordinary.
@@ryaquaza3offical yeah but mate how convenient is it that the "corrupted steve" ONLY had white eyes? there are corrupted steve skins and some texture packs from back in the day have them but if they were corrupted they wouldnt just make the eyes white.

I actually met Cosbydaf, the guy who made the NES Godzilla Creepypasta, on a forum a few years ago. The forum was for the Kaiju Combat Kickstarter game and there was a big push to get Red and Solomon from the Creepypasta included as fighters. It got to the point where they actually got official art for the game, but the development ended up falling through and it never came out. The forum isn't even up anymore.
I think it's hilarious that when I was 12 and first experiencing creepypastas, I got too scared of the Wikipedia description of the videos to actually watch them. I've never seen Cupcakes and Squidward Takoyaki to this day because I had nightmares from the Google search summary.
Also it doesn't really count but I never saw Don't Hug Me I'm Scared for the same reason, until junior year of high school when my drama teacher showed us the first two episodes. In his defense he had spent the last month working on Elf the musical so I'm pretty sure he needed the psychological shit to survive.

I remember, the creepypasta is pokemon buried alive, the npc was buried alive, i think he had a mewtwo and a sprite of a hand showing it's flesh and bones and in the final, when you are defeated he says "Finally fresh meat" a game over appears with red being eaten by the zombie
