What made Lonzo special? 1. Lonzo is a ball mover not just a stat padder or collecting assist by usage. Lonzo makes the hockey pass and he will never register an assist but it's a good bb play. I've seen him direct a pass for a 3rd pass already anticipating the next pass before it happens. 2. Lonzo is an excellent transitional passer and he can make 1 pass off a rebound. If you ever view games with Zion, he made full court alley opps to Zion for dunks. Never seen anything like that. 3. Lonzo always takes on the toughest players defensively. In fact, he was ranked at the top player in that category with the Bulls. I believe it's the reason he is hurt. The best block during that Bulls first half was a block Lonzo had head on with Isaiah Stewart's dunk at the basket. It wasn't from the side or from behind. It's face to face. Never seen a PG do that. That's a center. Lonzo was guarding power forwards at times like Giannis and Julius Randle and Kwahi, etc. With the Bulls the first half, Lonzo was averaging 2 steals and a block and would have been the 1st PG in NBA history to do so. 4. Lonzo improved his 3 point shooting to around 40%, which is the number he also had at UCLA when he came out as the top 3 point shooter in his class. Most don't realize that. 5. Lonzo has played with elite players and has picked their brains from Rondo, Jrue Holiday, and Lebron. Can Giddey get here? He will have to view the 5 things mentioned above. But I really like Giddey's game but I haven't seen it result in winning as Zo did with the Bulls.
I love watching some Giddey passing highlights. If he gets to passing from the peak of a jumpshot, and developes that 3ball, he's gonna be legit. Im excited to start watching these young Bulls get their wings.
I would like to see Giddey and Zo on the court at the same time with long wings and running center. That to me is the best winning style for the Bulls. Even play one of them at small forward with maybe Coby at another guard position for scoring. But that will be the most exciting bb. With Giddey at 6'8 and Zo at 6'6, you could easily slide in Coby as a guard and not even notice there are 3 guards due to the height of Giddey and Zo. Then have some rim runners on the court with Zo and Coby making 3's. I hope the Bulls try it. I never seen PAW run the floor well but with Zo and Giddey you will easily get rebound for outlets. And this is the reason I wanted the Bulls to keep Zach. They will need a Zach type player and I'm hoping Matas can add. If Zo comes back healthy, he is also a running player who can receive passes for dunks. If they get Cooper next year, they will have it made for the future. Smart guards and forwards. BB is a high iq game and that's how you win. That's how the Lakers won with Magic back in the day. It running the ball and teams not able to keep up.

It's not even a valid comparison. Giddey isn't even close defensively to Ball, and not as good a shooter. Giddey isn't bad, either. He's just a different player. He's good with the ball, he's big, and he can see over a lot of guards. He needs to work on his shot most of all. Ball is likely either done, or at best coming off the bench.
As long. as the Bulls offence is constantly flowing, cutting, resetting in positions to become a threat. He has very good ways to get the ball to the right person.
Some of those things will translate the same way so in essence yes we do have the "pseudo Lonzo ball variant" but there are things that translate off the court for example Joshes legal issues we'll have some "ohms" but Lonzo ball has had a top tier supporting cast in the past even though his brother had legal trouble it never affected Lonzo career.....

He ain’t special
Sorry
The best ability is availability
So yeah, giddy can have his leg fall off in the first 30 games, then for the next 3 years we can hear about how great he is and how he’s almost back
Ball can GTFO and the sooner the better
@@lordrayden3045 You can't even go though each point because it's truthful. Yes, availability is critical but an injury is an injury and that's against Zo. But skill wise. I like to see Giddey play defense and shoot 40% from 3's and play a winning style of bb that's not just about stat padding. Ben Simmons, who is also Australian, had that type of game in his first year with the Sixers and that's who I compare him to although Ben is bigger at 6'10 and a better defender too. I like to see Giddey defend the toughest opponents on the court like Zo did. Put him on Giannis and Power Forwards. See some of you are forgetful but that's how injuries occur, defending out of position. Giddey is 6'8 and bigger so he should be able to defend the bigger guys. Defend Giannis, defend Julius Randle. Don't hide him on defense.

“Skill wise” do t matter if he’s sitting on the bench …. Not even dressed for going on three years
People say the Levine contract wa bad?
This is worse
lol
This giddy guy is a joke he no lonzo
hopefully Giddey is not as injury prone as Lonzo.

@rjchi7317 elaborate on this
@chibullspodcast people put the wins and loses on lonzo but that wasn't the case. After lonzo got injured we had a 5 or 6 game win streak. The bulls was winning mainly bc the bulls was shooting amazing from 3pt line and we had a easy ass fuck schedule in the beginning. Plus we didnt start really losing until the schedule got harder and players came back to earth in terms of 3pt percentage.
@@rjchi7317 im still not seeing how we overrate lonzo when we see him as a 3&D player with great passing ability
@chibullspodcast I said it the first sentence. I love lonzo great defensive player. Great IQ. But people need to stop it with if lonzo was playing we would be good shit. We would be the same team Mediocre
