55 is the only legit weight for Conor to be ultra competitive. I have been saying this for a year, at least.
There was a time when Iron Mike was a perfect opponent for Conor's style. Chad Mendez comes to mind. It could be argued that conditioning was the difference in that fight. However if the tables were turned and it was Conor out of shape, i don't think he stands a chance against fighters like Chandler and Mendez.

@@jimmygundes6266 I don’t think Jones has been anywhere near close to the fighter he used to be for quite some time he looked like shit against Reyes and let’s be honest Ganye wasn’t really much of a threat to begin with I mean look at his body in his last fight it shows Jones is no different than anyone else and when it comes to fighting 35 seems to be the magic number without drugs and alcohol fueling your demise that fighters all of a sudden just turn off nobody beats Father Time especially when your an addict trying to compete at a high level

Uncle Chael - I was thinking why should standing in the middle of the ring during the last 10 seconds of a fight and going crazy on each other not be much more common! I wish YOU called out UFC fighters to do the same thing!! You're so good at knowing how to market things! Conor loses a significant amount of power at 155, and at 170 it's a wash. He should cut to 145 again. Where he had the touch of death, and looked like a skeleton on the scale. That's where Conor was a real killer.

The only guy that could get away with partying n fighting is Jon Jones. It made him a real prick though, eventually
He did it in "moderation" though. Like 1 single night a week before his fight. Usually after a week you are almost recovered fully from whatever substances. Of course its not optimal for the highest level of MMA, but its not like Jones was drinking every day up until his fight.
