Masterpiece.. I cant think of another band with more masterpieces than MAIDEN.. UP THE IRONS... You really need to see them live when possible. They are considered by many many millions to be the best live band on earth.. Any genre.
Maiden are gods of metal. Seen them play 4 times, 1982, 1985, 1999, 2014. Lifelong fan. Best metal show in the world. See them if you can..UP THE IRONS!!!!
Maiden is one of my fav bands of all time, and this album was the first album of theirs I discovered and fell in love with. I then went back and heard their older stuff and love it too - but 7th Son to me is an incredible album.
Hello Dave from Savannah , GA USA ....my entire 1980s were My Maiden Years , I'm 54 today and realize I got a College Education From Iron Maiden ......every lyric , the Lore , the poems I would have never known Edgar Allen Poe , The Nuclear count down Clock . 2 minutes to midnight . I could go on Alexander the Great !!!!!!!! UP ! THE IRONS ! Raise your swords !
You should try "for the greater good of god" or "the number of the beast" and maybe "fear of the dark" and "the trooper" a couple more great songs by iron maiden
In Seventh Son of a Seventh Son I believe there were 4 solos, believe it goes Dave, Adrian, Dave, Adrian ( Seventh Son came out in '88 and Maiden's guitarists were Dave Murray and Adrian Smith and since '99 Maiden has had 3 guitarists, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers ( Janick replaced Adrian when Adrian quit in late '89 or early '90, Adrian rejoined in '99)
Wikipedia has a fascinating page on this subject matter, with several alleged examples from real-life, the most fascinating being James Murrell, born in England in 1797. Later Folklore includes the allegation that he had the ability to fly and to instantaneously transport himself vast distances. However, Steve Harris has stated he was inspired to write this album after the death of English Psychic, Doris Stokes.
You can't have Synthasizers or Keyboards in Iron Maiden.... Ha... Just a Jest from 1984... Watch Behind the Iron Curtain. And you will see...Smoke on the Water.....and Fire in the Sky....
I love Iron Maiden. I was supposed to go see them in May... they were finally coming to Adelaide, Australia. Fuck you COVID!!!! Very nice video btw! I've just subscribed.

If anyone ever tries to tell you keyboards have no place in metal just tell them "Up the IRONS!"
or Marilyn Manson, or Ramstein or number of others. But yes absolutely there's a place.
Check out some old Maiden like Remember Tomorrow and Phantom of the Opera.
Up the irons 🤘

Duuude please react to live version from Maiden England in 1988
I recently bought that DVD. Live in England.

Being the seventh son of a seventh son was not so uncommon before the 1950's. Families often had more then ten children.
