played the original. 6 players and an equal amount watching. the most fun I've had in a group game. group won on an almost impossible throw at the last throw of the game. the whole group exploded in a huge roar of laughter, cheering and back slapping. pure joy.

I really enjoy this game. You mixed all the components together, but if you want to play the intended way you're supposed to use a type of dice with the matching target and cards. Like the D4 is to be used with the frozen target ( since the D4 slides on the target) and all the cards with the frozen background. The game manual doesn't do a good job to explain you this, but the latest KS update do.
You can mix it all if you want though.
We win maybe a third of our games, we found it waaaayyy easier without playmat on a hard table. It may be your problem with the game !
I have been playing the game but still have a few rules I can’t understand , like how many color dice you are supposed to use if you are more then 3 players. So what is the latest KS? Can I find it somewhere ? Thnx
I haven't played Dungeon Fighter, but I pre-ordered One More Quest which is a full roleplaying game from the same people using the same mechanics and world. I'm very excited; I love to see silly ideas expanded into something with real depth and replayability

Played the original 3 times. Never got past the second room. There's a sorta similar French game called: Donjon de Naheulbeuk (based on the audio podcast) which is almost as difficult. Both are not for me.
You missed the point of the game imo. Its about laughing it out with friends and see how far u can go.
Out of curiosity, how far back are you supposed to stand when throwing the dice?
By default, it's up to you. You can also just sit normally at the table and throw the dice.
Is it possible to mix all together? Or does it make more sense to play the four "dungeons" seperatly?
It is entirely up to you.

Man. I really hate all the hackneyed writing, puns, and jokes in this game. There aren't many games I want to play less than I want to play this one. I like it when my games either take themselves seriously, OR are genuinely funny and weird. I don't need a game that doesn't take itself seriously, but is also not funny or smart.
@@BrussLSprouts Oh OK. I'll make it real simple, just for you. The writing, including and especially all the puns and joke names, for this board game, is garbage. It's a middle school English class assignment level of creativity, and it sucks. The writing. It sucks. Get it?
