Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video and to share it with everyone on UA-cam. The ram on my Bridgeport I just got is stuck and I've been searching for ways to fix the problem. I did start with WD40, but I wasn't sure if it would work. Others did different things, but I read that it took time to get rusted & stuck, so don't be in a hurry to free it up because some end up causing major damage if they lack patience. I don't have the means to lift the ram & turret off of the base, so I'll be going the slow and steady route to get her done and working again.
Very good video. Now I know that I can get the blocks out without removing the ram. I got a 1967 series 1 and of course the ram was frozen and the handle broken off. I had to use a pipe wrench (yikes) to break mine loose.
