[Real Time Watercolor Demo] Quiet Morning Mist
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лют 2025
- Happy 2025, I know I'm about a month late. This one was supposed to come out a lot earlier.
This is a simple painting, and I uploaded it as a real-time demo since it's not long. Despite many places having a rough start in 2025, I hope the rest of the year will be good for you.
I have a 2-parts video about masking fluid; hopefully, it will come out this month. Stay tuned!

Eric I really love watching you paint and listening to your commentary. This is a great demonstration of a lovely soft scene and as we get quite a lot of misty mornings here I shall try one myself. Thank you for sharing this video I loved it ❤
Thank you
It is really helpful. Thank you so much for your demo. I miss your demos and tutorials
This is really helpful. It’s been difficult to tackle subjects with less contrast and muted colors. This is helping me see things in a new light. ❤
Why nylon brush?
it soaks up less water on the brush and is easier to do wet on wet. I made a dedicated video about it here: ☺

Thank you. You answered my question in your video.
How can I paint watercolour slowly ...without stress of watercolour dryingout on me?
I guess not stressing about drying means accepting the fact that it will dry. It's not the end of the world when the paint dry. You can rewet and repaint. It's also about familiarizing yourself with the material, timing, and different stages of wetness.
You can carefully use a spray bottle to keep areas damp.
@@sujanithtottempudi2991 another tip I learned was to use a piece of glass to paint on, then wet both the back and front of the paper. It makes the paper stick without tape and the paper stays wet a lot longer. I just use my glass side table, works great. 👍
can u do a video on Alla prima in watercolour and wet on wet both for cityscape or cafeteria scene please?
by Alla Prima do you mean lots of wet on wet? because I do wet on wet for pretty much every painting.
