    My best friend is relocated to Hilton head. We both live in Florida. I’m a hairstylist. I would love to relocate there. How is it for hairdressers there to find a job?

    Most of this video is right on the money, very good takes. I live in Bluffton and the only thing I would challenge is the leaves changing in fall. If you want to see any meaningful leaves change color you need to drive further north. The leaves that change here are almost non existent. It's such a minor amount of color change that I have to leave the area to see a glimpse of the beauty that is Autumn.

    Can you have a dog and how big can they be?

    Thank you for your informative videos! At what storm windspeed do residents typically move their outdoor furniture and outdoor decorations inside? :)

      I can’t say there’s a specific wind speed, we just personal judgment! Storms here are just like storms anywhere else so if there’s a tropical storm warning we will usually move them in then, but for regular storms it just kind of depends.

    Please talk about the HOA issues in the gated communities in the Bluffton area. How strict are they? What are the fees?

    • @TheYostGroup
      @TheYostGroup  Рік тому

      Because the HOAs are different in each community (both rules and fees) you can always email us at theyostgroup@gmail.com with specific questions. For the most part, the rules are there to protect the property owners and preserve property values. The expense will be determined by the amount of amenities and services the community provides its residents.

      @@TheYostGroup Perhaps there's a video you could do. That could help educate those who view your channel.

    I wasn't overly concerned about the 'gators, but it's reassuring to hear your perspective on it.
    What DOES cause me some concern is: is it safe to kayak on the waters? We'll be moving into Latitude and I see photos of these nice waterways by the original clubhouse, and the little beach and all the kayaks. Do the gators just stay away from the kayaks? I'm a little afraid of being in their territory (the water).

      No worries there either. We kayak and have never been bothered by an alligator, but I did have a Dolphin come out of the water about six inches from my kayak, and I about had a heart attack. Alligators are not aggressive. They are lazy. Males can be territorial with other males, but as far as I know, that's it. There are a few kayakers and paddleboarders in the Lake at LMHH. They may even have a club.

      Ask someone who has lived around gators for years what you shouldn't do. People have died here from alligators. It is not a problem unless you are stupid, life is harder when you are stupid any ways. Don't be stupid.
      Direct answer. I have an alligator slide in my backyard and I also have Kayaks, the kids and I use them and no one has been killed yet. I am not worried about it but back to don't be stupid.

    Beaufort county is much cheaper for property taxes. I know what this lady does for a living and where she sells houses. It's in Jasper county not Beaufort county.

      Actually, we sell as many in Beaufort County as we do in Jasper County and yes, property taxes are slightly less in Beaufort County. However, your insurance rates are higher than Jasper County so what we find is that it is often a wash. I can attest to this firsthand as we moved from bluffton to Hardeeville and now pay an additional $200 a year in combined taxes and insurance. There are pros and cons to both Beaufort and Jasper County. That’s why an experienced realtor that works in Both counties is very helpful when trying to learn the area.
