Those traffic circles are horrific. it's a shame that they couldn't put in the same type of traffic circles they have down on the end of Hilton Head. How much are the prices on around a ten acre parcels of land over in Jasper Ridgeland or maybe even Hardyville for farming?
The traffic circles are scary. Especially when people visiting are unsure of the rules. Here's the sold land listings in Jasper county for the past year so you can get a feel for the pricing. portal.onehome.com/en-US/share/1003228a01452
I'm moving here for college in the fall from Minnesota and the only thing I hate so far is how SLOW people from the south talk. Everyone from up north talks so fast lol. I literally had to put this on 2x speed to listen to it.
Cahill's market has excellent breakfast. I sat in their dining area looking out at the morning wonder of birds, plants, chickens and so on. Really beautiful place. The roundabouts are a challenge for tourist, like myself, not sure why they even exist. Yes people there are generally outwardly friendly. As a NY person it took some time accept it as the norm. One of my issues with the area is all of the Styrofoam. Its pretty much banned in NY. That stuff is forever which is not a good thing. Still a fun place to visit.
We just go back from Montage and are going to buy down there. Any info you can record on the details on palmetto bluff would be ideal! Enjoyed your personality.
Thank you, David for your insight to these 10 things you “hate”! I really got a kick out of the slang. This was a good wake-up for us other people considering a move to SC.
Why would you insult us? Most of your negatives were about the south. And honestly, very seriously, we are so tired of people moving here that we would just be glad if they didn’t. Now I’m southern and I’m a nice person, but we have had it with people moving here from places up north and making our streets crowded and complaining when they could’ve just stayed where they were. And go make fun on your own ancestors - you should sell real estate up north or in southern FL - we don’t appreciate your insults. So as Lewis Grizzard said 75 goes north, 85 goes north, and Delta is ready when you are.
@@toreybettencourt9323 I am only mean if you insult my entire family and culture when you move to my home - so if that’s mean, color me mean. Please remember it and go home.
Let me ask you this, who would move here (or anywhere) if there were no new subdivisions, shopping centers, career prospects? Who are the Low Country locals SELLING out their acreage to the highest bidder? Who are the politicians ALLOWING this rapid growth and just leaving transportation (esp. mass transit, cuz hwys. are ugly & always get wider) as an afterthought (We'll Deal With That Later)? I feel your pain, but it's a joke to blame people/ anyone for taking up offers by locals who made it all possible.
You missed the smell of the tap water. It smells just like the pluff mud. And let's be honest about the mud smell, it smells like poo. Not sure how anyone come to "like" that smell but to each their own.
@@lowcountrylifestyles Except for some Panhandle areas, Florida waters stink of sulphur as it comes from aquifers. And yet... millions live there & keep coming!
Yes sir definitely private golf clubs that include golf membership like Colleton, Berkeley, and Belfair. If you send me an email or a text, I can send you a list of condos under 300,000.

We love southern hospitality!
I'm glad you like it. Me too. It bothers some people.

My family is from MN. We do have the tendency to speak slow here in the South. I also listen to everything in 2X. At least you'll be warmer down here!
Depends on the part of Ohio you're coming from. Where I live is quite friendly.
I hate the humidity
@discovery781 it's an adjustment for a lot of people!!
amazing that anybody can afford real estate in Bluffton anymore
