I still have two of my all weather leather that I bought back in 1993 and 1994. I love them! You got a great deal. The handles come off so you can wear a longer strap or the two handles. The longer strap came with the handbags when you bought them.
Yes, I Know, I do have the shoulder strap as well, I like to leave the handles on and just add the long one. I'm sporting it now, and it doesn't feel or look dated in the least- I love it. Thank you for watching.
I was excited to see this as well. I have this exact purse from 1994 or 95 and the matching wallet and change purse. I guess I need to start carrying it again. I also have a black messenger bag I bought sometime around 1998. The quality of my old ones is so much better than my newer ones.
Don't know why these bags went out of favour, I have quite a few and I treasure them! You can bail a boat out with one in an emergency and it will still look great. And you can mail it to the company and get it refurbished as they are guaranteed for life!( maybe not now but they used to be!)
