Absolutely gorgeous!! I’ve had this set of markers for over a year and wasn’t sure how to use them with water. Thank you so much for teaching me!!! 🤗🤗🤗
I just ordered the 96 or 93 pack. I haven’t got them yet but I am super excited! They were also pretty affordable for 96. They were 63 dollars off of amazon. They were less on the arteza website but only by a few dollars. I bought them off of amazon instead because it had 2 day shipping and I am NOT patient. Thanks for showing me how they will be! Love your channel. -From a Fan.
I learned in art school that if you use markers on the markers paper it soaks up your markers a lot and it will shorten the life of your markers. Also watercolor paper will do this too. Bristol is the best to use or cardstock. Just FYI. Love your channel.
I haven't tried. I'm sure you could color on wood, but I'm not sure about blending, as they would soak into the wood if it's untreated wood. Thanks for watching, Lolly!
Glad I found this review even though it's from last year. I have just been thinking about investing in a set of these. I really like the way the roses and leaves turned out. I have some other Arteza products and I like them, so I will be investing in a set of these as well. I think they would be really nice to use for card making. Thanks for sharing.
My set arrived yesterday and my first impression is that these really don't work well for watercoloring images. I've used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for quite a while and that's what I'm comparing them to. I get little to no color movement on hot press watercolor paper but will keep playing with them.
I had also never tried to just color with them on watercolor paper first and then add water. Completely different result. I mostly prefer hot press paper myself.
Your best bet would be too add the water directly too the page or dip the markers tip into water before you put them on the page, I find they work best with cheaper watercolor paper, not cotton but the kind made from wood pulp because the pigment sits on top rather then soaking in it's more of a water soluable ink so you have a short window for adding water too blend it, it's an interesting medium with its own quirks, and so far one of my favorites, I hope you find what works for you with them they are really fun too even just doodle with
You might find this easier and more affordable. Alcohol markers take longer to learn and master. So many crafters buy the alcohol markers, try them once, and give up. It takes practice. Alcohol markers are expensive, too. Arteza has some alcohol markers called EverBlend, and they are super affordable, but they don't have a brush tip. I heard they are coming out with a brush tip soon.
Oh wow beautiful! I got a small set of 12 for Christmas. I've been looking for a video on how to use them like this. Thank you so much. Khris from Phoenix
it depends on you. If you are very artistic and want many variations of shades, get the 96. If you are a crafter who doesn't worry about so many variations, 48 really is fine
I have them from all over. The wooden ones are very old, and that large rose is from Rubber Stampede, called "rose" number A1670G. Maybe you can find it on eBay

it is hard to wait for fun craft supplies, right? :)
Yes ma’am 🤩😂 I just got them today and they are amazing. I already painted 3 pictures!
Great video. I am a beginner with water coloring but I really enjoy the stamps idea to buy and then color those! 😊😊😊
Glad it was helpful!
I have these but only tried them once. After seeing you use them I'm going to try doing water first. Thanks! The rose turned out gorgeous!
yes, it makes all the difference.

great tip
Beautiful colouring and blending, you made it look so easy.
thank you
Hi Lolly your rose is gorgeous. Thank you for the tutorial 👧🏻
thanks so much for watching!
Lover the waffle flower swatch stamps they are a great warm up too
Yes, they are :) Thanks for watching!
Looks like it’s going to take me some time to learn how to use these
sometimes it does take practice
Lolly, I love your watercoloring with the Arteza. I guess they are my next coloring purchase. Thanks for sharing.
thank you. I have heard that it's best to use more of a bristol card stock pad in the art part of the craft store, rather than watercolor paper.
@@LollyPalooza Thanks for that heads up Lolly.
Those look like a lot of fun to use!
they are! :)
Hi Lolly, I have the pens and I’m wondering I the colors could be used on wood?? I want to use it on a spinning wheel.
Thanks, Lolly😊

Just ordered the 48 set thanks for the coupon code
you bet! Thanks for watching
You make it look so easy. I loved this review and cannot wait to use mine! Thank you so much!

Great review and coloring. That rose is beautiful. Thank you.
thank you very much
Hi Lolly I'm new to coloring for a beginner what would you choose as the best product alcohol or water and brand

You can buy open stalk, its just that you get 4 of one color in a pack, not just one marker of a specific color
ah. Thank you

Hi Brian, I'm Linda, I was wondering do you mind telling me what their shipping fee is for US?
For Arizona?
And I'm Khris, Brian is my husband.
@@briankhrisjackson9088 Hi Khris, for Oklahoma.
I don't know I either go to the post office which is 6 blocks from my house or ups store a couple miles away to ship my stuff.
How should you store these markers? Flat, up? Tx
I'm storing them flat
pretty good job ............ your art works are amazing
thank you
I love those. Do you know how much they are I would love to own a set.
I have the links under the video so you can check it out :)
How long did it take to deliver to your house?
Ooh, I don't remember. It's been awhile.
This is amazing!
thank you
what's that thing that's spreading water through the pen? what's it called?
It's called a water brush, or water brush pen depending on the brand. amzn.to/2Ld6VnZ
Beautiful!
thank you :)
Would you recommend the 96 set or 48 set?
it depends on you. If you are very artistic and want many variations of shades, get the 96. If you are a crafter who doesn't worry about so many variations, 48 really is fine
@@LollyPalooza thank you...48 will work for me
Can I ask where you get your stamps from please?
I have them from all over. The wooden ones are very old, and that large rose is from Rubber Stampede, called "rose" number A1670G. Maybe you can find it on eBay
@@LollyPalooza thank you. Will have a look!
Does anyone know if you can't refill the water brushes
yes you can
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
thanks a bunch
Just roll the point on a piece of paper and it should regain it's point.
I had tried, but it didn't
They are not markers. They are portable water colors.
thanks for the input
