Plot twist: Steve was building a mansion and once he finished. He brought his dog with him and gave his dog a brand new collar.
Except he didn't, Player spent years in Spectator mode after dying in Hardcore Mode so that the time could pass (exiting the world pauses the time) so he could wait for his dear companion to join him in Heaven
Edit: It's still a happy end though, both of them met each other again and the dog also recieved a Golden Colar from the Player.

i have 4 minecraft dogs in my base on one of my brothers realms that have been waiting for me for about 2-3 weeks and i feel like this is how they feel, also still trying to kind of cope with the loss of 3 animals, a dog, and 2 cats, the hard part of coping it is that they existed before me and cant just be replaced by another animal

I didn't want to think about all the over 100 worlds I have, that in 40 of them I have a pet dog, and 90 of them I've never opened ever again. But this video showed up and it reminded me to only have a couple or a few worlds so I don't have to worry about it.
Being honest, we never wanted that to happen, i'm feeling bad right now because i used to have dogs and then i stopped playing minecraft or broke my phone, i know it's just a game but sometimes we have feelings for it, i hope all my dogs in minecraft that i havent seen again are alive and happy.
