How To Quickly And Evely Space Porch Pickets

I tell hope this was easy to understand. I have found this to be the fastest way to get the porch pickets spaced evenly. I’ve used a story stick, but they don’t always fit. And a story stick is still a pain on stairs.

Alot easier way is once you get your first picket plumb and in olace just place a 2"x4" against it to give you your spacing. Then push your next picket against the 2"x4" and nail it up then repeat process..
