Good review thank you. Made the decision to buy the ASX GSR based on performance, engine power, handling, simplicity of design, reliability, warranty and value for money. Funnily enough the male reviewers seem to focus too much on the tech side of things whereas the female reviews focus on important practical features.
100% got this car brand new for $21,500 there are aspects I don’t like about it but for the price, really not much to complain about. It does what it does.
Go buy a holden, oops no, not a good idea lmao. From Discover on Google www.caradvice.com.au/827459/holden-axed-in-australia-as-general-motors-gets-out-of-right-hand-drive-globally/
This was was originally released in 2010 - 10 years ago people. Mitsubishi makes good / reliable cars, but this one should have been retired / replaced, not face-lifted.
Brian Jake I live in the real world where Mitsubishi’s old SUVs are reliable, but their cars and crossovers are complete rubbish. Where JATCO makes their CVTs and where Nissan cuts every corner and dollar from Mitsubishi they can. The real question is where you live. I’m guessing in 1995.
@@johnnoe2002 pretty good car, engine is slightly noisy but not too much, it's comfortable. Good value for money. My only gripe is the use of plastic that looks and feel cheap.
They managed to refresh the exterior, but the interior is noticable outdated. But even that is ok for some people. Not everyone needs the latest tech stuff. In Germany, Mitsubishi offers AWD only combined with the CVT - that's why it wasn't an option for my dad. He got a Suzuki SX-4 S-Cross instead.
The ASX has uncomfortable front seats, jarring suspension, and a fairly weak engine so 7.5 out of ten is rather generous for this vehicle. The kids were closer to the mark with 7 but I'd give it a 6 or 6.5. I am curious why the children consider orange their least favourite colour for the ASX yet in another review (Subaru XV 2019 Premium) these same children were said to have loved the orange of another vehicle, is it the shade of orange or just them being fickle ?
ASX is a solid car - ultra-reliable and the CVT was updated a few years ago, the "CVT8" fitted since 2014 is much better than the original unit. Pity Mitsubishi couldn't drop in a detuned 4B11T engine, matched with the auto from the old diesel ASXs.
I drive an ASX diesel auto and it’s the worst auto box I’ve driven since my sisters old 1984 Holden Gemini. Not sure why you would want that gearbox on anything??
i have trouble with leg room in this vehicle. and the rear seats sit too upright for me and the rear space for your feet on the floor is too narrow.. does australia not get the Diesel AWD?
Had it as rental car for 2 weeks, didn’t like the driving dynamics at all, huge body roll, very noisy at 110kmh, slow acceleration for the 2 litre, and Theres only sport mode and L mode, couldn’t downshift manually. the auto emergency braking came up once as I approached a steep incline, which scared the heck out of me, boot size was ok for a 4 people trip with fuel consumption of around 7.4ish combined, which was good
I’ve had the ASX for over 6 years and it was just a car. For the price that we got it for $21,500 I don’t think there was much to complain about. It’s just a car. Never had any issues. Somehow battery was never replaced.
I like her reviews very much, she is such a good reviewer where we can't concentrate on cars she reviews, she will be the main attraction with her superb facial expressions
Would you stop saying the dash has man made materials !!! Every review !! WTF when was the last time you saw genuine leather or any other NON made made material in the dash !! Get over THAT. You fail to mention that the interior of that car is virtually the same as the one back in 2014 with minor differences. (Did you even know that?) As for it's handling, it is one of the most "detached" cars from the road I have ever driven, with little feel. How could you compare the ride of that SUV as compared to say a Seltos - they are in different leagues as well as being years apart in design and functionality. Look I don't mind a light hearted perspective review - but if you are really misrepresenting a very ordinary car to other's such as yourselves who take a more tame approach to car reviews. What the point of a "fluffy" it's all good review when this very old and tired car gets the virtual nod when there are other SUV's on the market that would run rings around it for a similar price point. All in all a pretty crappy review.
I'm not sure this update is good, but price is better than the others. I think Eclipse Cross is a better option than this one. Waiting your next video.
The best things you can say about this car drives and it’s cheap. If all you need is to get from point A to point B... then get a bicycle. A bicycle is better than this car. There you go. You’re welcome.

Mitsubishi should hire you as the official spokesperson for ASX - video really well recorded and the tango music was lovely
I am not a fan of the ASX but for the money it does most things that most want and need it to do

Yes and it suits this dinosaur driver.
No mention of the 185cm husband????

No way. This car has aged well. It looks good!
Good and reliable? You’re mad! This isn’t a Pajero!
@@afcgeo882 Mitsubishi is reliable bro. I don't know which world you live in. Lol

@@afcgeo882 My friend's Mitsubishi ASX 2010 clock more than 300k km and still runs fine. Only replace wear and tear parts. No problem with Jatco CVT.
Lovely car
Great Australian Speech very good and easy to understand
Getting one today.
Did you get a ASX what model and your thoughts on it would be appreciated …

Great review :)
I love the intro music - makes me dance! What's the name of this piece?
Great review and a good car nicely updated 😃👍✅
Is that black edition model? or not? Nice video/Like

I think her kids would have done a better with the review - it was weak uninformed drivel.
I don’t think anyone would be a fan of the ASX but for the price it is a really compelling car

wax333 we used to but not any more
Not a word on the transmission? I believe it's a CVT, which is a turn off for many people and should've been mentioned!
SammyT It’s not just a CVT... it’s a JATCO CVT. Just junk it as soon as you buy it!

sendtobarry 2015? Aside from the infotainment screen, it’s from 2010!
You seem... highly strung. Are you ok?
The interior looks 10 years old
Looks like my 2017 Mitsubishi outlander sport. I'll stick to my 2017 because it has 4x4 also.
It is. The ASX is badged as "Outlander Sport" for USA market.

What is this obsession with suv they have the aero of a meteorite
They are everywhere now. I see less sedan on the road. But i prefer the wagon type body
You had a smile the whole time and you have it a 7.5 I'm so confused lol.
you only need an suv if you'll go off-road
