That's the way Emma with the tweezers! Pretty pink pearls! Now I'm sorry I didn't order pearls from Michaels! They turn fairly fast. I have some Tim Holtz alcohol inks I think I'm going to try tomorrow!
Emma - Since this was posted approximately 4 months ago have you noticed the color fading or rubbing off/peeling? Although definitely a different medium a few years ago I made some polymer clay leaf beads to mix with glass leaf beads for a necklace. I added alcohol inks to translucent clay in order to create specific color combinations. In spite of baking the clay I was disappointed to see the alcohol ink colors in the clay leaves gradually faded. The intense colors became dull to the point I disassembled the necklace. If the pearls have maintained their color i imagine white pearls in stores will soon be scarce.
Hello Emma, do they bleed out if they wet after they have been dyed? I just would not want someone to get their clothes ruined if they get stuck in the rain for example.
Good question. These are permanent ink. They are artist grade so they won't fade in uv light. If you are concerned I wouldn't recommend it. These are inexpensive pearls and I use them for fun and practice. I would definitely use a higher quality coloured pearl for project to sell. 🤗💚
Hi Emma, Thanks so much for this video. I bought my Niece the Crayola sprinkle art shaker, but Crayola only supplies the shaker with a few colour bead options and also does not allow you to purchase more beads! I decided to purchase my own white beads and do as you have shown and it is working great! However, I can't get the brown shade to adhere to the beads and I tried a brown sharpie from a few years ago and also one I just bought a few weeks ago. Are you aware of there being an issue with the beads absorbing the brown shade or maybe other shades? I really loved how dark/vibrant the purple sharpie colour turned out as well as the yellow sharpie too!
Wow Emma, nice job!!! I love pink, they look like some that I purchased a long time ago called pink luster!! I saw someone dyeing w/the inside of the marker, the plastic coated cylinder pulls out as well. I imagine the tip is more intense in color...
I tried this out today on some cheap pearls from Dollar Tree, however I used Ranger / Tim Holtz alcohol ink from the bottles and it worked. The Lets Resin alcohol ink did not work.
RIT dye also works, and you can sometimes get it to work with plastic buttons. 🙂
Hocus, Pocus, Mix-em-up-tosis...from white/champagne to glorious pink...fabulous magic xox
Toil and trouble 😂❤️ That was so much fun🤓

I tried to order two different sets of alcohol ink and they were both sold out 🤦 Can't wait to see what yours look like🤓
@@BabySquirrelBeading I saw Tim use them to color his "baubles " in a UA-cam...they were awesome! Can't wait to try them!

Somebody is having fun.
Nah...😂😂😂
I’m really curious about how the dye works out
The dye seams to hold it's colour. I have a bunch I died a month ago and are great. I've made a few bracelets. The videos are coming.
Beautiful outcome, and you obviously loved them.
Beautiful! Thank you Emma😊
Cool 👍
