Tip for number one. you can crouch and go into a cave hidden past the rocks in the temple. you cant build in there but theres some loot crates that spawn
Yes if you build in caves or on ruins you take a x6 damage penalty be default (unofficial servers may very). However if its a good cave with 1 choke point and preferably a high ledge (forcing them to use flyers to get in) or if its a tough squeeze to fit (they cant fit quetz w/turtles) its still can be a great pvp build location. A good example is on the scorched earth map there is a cave with 1 choke point where only a player can fit with maybe a shoulder dino. If you turret up the inside of that choke the x6 dmg penalty doesn't really matter because getting c4 or rockets in is going to be impossible. Soaking with dinos is impossible because you can't fit anything in there. Your left with player bullet soaking and we all know how affective that is LOL
Hello! I was playing on a server "the volcano" and I went to the cave number 8, and it does not let me build there, it is something of administrator configuration or it is by default that it can not be built in that cave?

I think whats happening is as we count down the spots each location is getting better and better. That being said its like oh I love number 10 its amazing then number 5 pops up I love that spot even more. Oh wait number 1 I love that spot the most.

Good question :) Currently TheVolcano is a mod map only. TheCenter was a mod map only at one point, it was eventually purchased by Wildcard and then officially was released as a DLC. When a map becomes a DLC release its usually becomes available for console (xbox). As it sits I think TheVolcano isnt available for xbox. Additionally TheVolcano last I heard wasn't complete at this point.
all of the caves you take like 10x increased damage on buildings so you would be easy to raid and in the artifact caves you cant fly and carnivores spawn constantly
Frederik hansen default cave multiplier for cave damage is 6x. If your base is positioned and built correctly in a cave it can be very hard to raid. If fliers arent allowed in caves your base is even tougher to raid. You can build high up with grappling hooks
Great tip :) Also I noticed when you fly through the roof of some of the caves your dino disappears and your forced to re spawn and you cant get your corpse back.
