NSFAS cancels contracts for its service providers

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme board has decided to cut ties with the partners selected to disburse monthly allowances to tertiary students. This comes after an investigation into allegations surrounding their appointment to facilitate the direct payment of allowances to students uncovered a conflict of interest. Students have been protesting against the new NSFAS system, will this bring about stability in the institutions of high learning? #DStv403
