I totally agree that Ancient Dreams feels younger than Froot, Ancient Dreams feels like Marina rediscovering herself and starting over the process of self growth and discovery. Like Froot is the “I think I know who I am” and then comes Ancient Dreams thats becomes “I am hear to re-evaluate who I am and I am not what I thought I was.” It feels like Marina will soon make something even better and more mature in the future

So half of the album focused on like real world issues while the second half focuses on her personal life more and i love that
