So sorry that happened to you. In December I moved out of my storefront/workshop. It was heartbreaking. I bought a bigger house and moved everything into the garage. Felt like a step back but, it all worked out for now.

Life throws us bitter sweet moments at times. Sorry on one hand for the loss of your boutique / warehouse, but I see it on the other hand as a Blessing for your marriage and a better location with an elevator or on the ground floor and a lease/rent at a more economical price with a smooth expedited transition. Stanley for sure sales are down for everyone! I am down as well compared to last year Mother’s Day. I do have sales coming from so many areas that it has helped offset and I just got into one of the largest farmers markets in my area that has done well with almost no competition. Cost is huge when leasing. I got lucky that my place was very reasonable. I would suggest to anyone if you get a good deal on a good spot ask for an ability to extend your lease. I did two 3 year extension options and now I’m happy I did. You will find the right space for your business and it sounds like with your new marriage this was definitely the right move! Good luck I know you will find a great location and congrats on your marriage!

Being away from high-traffic areas is my fear for a boutique I wanted to open. Guess it is accurate what they say, location, location, location.

To combat the economy I have been making more wax melts, using A27 wax from you. I sell individually - one square at 2/$1.
