Great Video. Do just to confirm, All you need to have is the Vaxis A5 paired with a Vaxis 600 transmitter? Or do you need both the transmitter and receiver along with the A5 monitor? Thank you in advanced.
Either one. You can pair up just 2 components or All 3 fo them. The A5 supports both. It can be a TX or a RX. And still pairs up with a Phone or Tablet at the same time.
Questions, what parts did you use to attach the focus throw ball , handle etc? How does this compare to the Hollyland M1? Which wireless focus puller are you using? Thanks in advance.😊
I used the Smallrig focus wheel holder designed specifically for this system, the Tilta Nucleus Nano. I attached it to a SmallRig top handle and a Tilta Side handle.
As a professional AC I do want to say 80 ms really is far too much latency to effectively pull with - if you’ve worked on film you can watch off the screen and anticipate distances but at that point the monitor isn’t doing much for you. This monitor could work as a mini directors or client monitor but pulling isn’t really recommended
Hey Kenneth! Yes, it was designed for the full ATOM system. It's so consistent to use too!! Apparently, the set I'm using in this video, ATOM 600, was never released for retail, so sorry for that confusion. It's essentially the exact same set as the Atom 500, but went 100 feet farther!
