I am one of His chosen ones… for this holy purpose. You can be one also. Fulfill the Ten Commandments, and the Teachings of Christ, and the Tradition. Confession first, and then receive the Holy Communion in your mouth kneeling down, if possible. Receive ONLY from the Priest. Not giving the greeting of peace, this is false modernism.

La messe XI "Orbis Factor" est celle des dimanches du temps ordinaire.
Mass XI "Orbis Factor" is sung by the choir for Ordinary Time Sundays
Incontestablement la plus belle des messes grégoriennes; la seconde parmi les plus belles étant la festive Messe VIII, appelée "Messe des Anges", qui est chantée lors du commun festif et également lors des périodes de grandes fêtes.
La Messe Orbis Factor demeure, à mes yeux, la plus extraordinaire composition musicale médiévale jamais entreprise.
Bien que, lors de funérailles, nous nous devons d'exécuter la Messe XVIII (appelée "Messe pour les Défunts"), il m'a fort souvent été demandé par des familles de mes paroisses d'exécuter l'Orbis Factor, en dirigeant la maîtrise seule, sans accompagnement, puis d'aller rapidement à mes claviers pour commenter le propos en improvisant.
Le Kyrie de l'Orbis Factor est véritablement le "tube" de l'époque, et je ne serais pas étonné le moins du monde qu'il revienne à la mode, en nos jours très sombres pour notre chrétienté atrocement torturée par les musulmans.
Petite note à l'attention des futurs chefs d'orchestre: si vous êtes capables de savoir diriger admirablement du grégorien, vous êtes un musicien-né, et vous avez donc les qualités requises pour diriger un ensemble musical.
Note 2: Je ne sais pas si ceux qui chantent ont un problème d'élocution, mais il faut prononcer Éléï"SS"on et non pas Éléï"sch"on (nous sommes en plein dans l'école de Notre-Dame de Paris, au IXe siècle, et pas dans une mosquée d'allemagne musulmanisée!), en marquant bien le premier "S", qui doit demeurer suspensif, voyez-vous...jusqu'à l'attente du "on", que le chef seul vous indiquera. Dans l'attente que le chef vous indique le "on", vous devez demeurer sur un "h" muet.

A Schola Gregoriana Mediolanensis é perfeita na execução do canto gregoriano. É um canto angelical, próprio da liturgia tridentina da Santa Igreja Católica. O homem sente necessidade de olhar para o passado e ver que muito da beleza litúrgica foi esquecida.

Orbis Factor is for Ordinary Time, such as post-Epiphany and Post-Pentecost. There is another setting for Advent and Lent.
Which is great because we get to hear it more. In my EF parish, this is usually our norm for non-feasttime sundays
This is Mass XI (Orbis Factor), for Sundays during ordinary time. For Sundays of Lent, you would use Mass XVII.
During Lent and Advent the Gloria is never used.

Giovanni Vianini is a great performer of the gregorian chant, and a awesome teacher, he teaches this chorus.
Orbis factor Mass has got to be one of my favorites for the music for the ordinary of the Mass.

Zu den Bildern :
Warum heben die Altarassisten bei der Elevation immer die Rückseite der Kasel so übertrieben hoch?
Ich finde das sieht nicht so schön aus und man kann auf dumme Gedanken kommen.
Bei den barocken Mini-Kaseln ist das zudem unnötig.
