Have you ever had an independent Jura? They are incredible at Cask Strength between 12-30 YO, very herbal and spicy. Very much a unique malt. Sadly the owners completely disrespect their product by nuking it with E150 and Chill filtering it to heck. Get you some IB Jura friendos!
100% agree. I have one 10 year old, one 15 year old and one 17 year old all from independent bottlers and high strength. They are all great and as you said a unique profile.
When Johnny comes marching home again, Jurrahh, Jurrahh We'll pour him a dram of 10 year old, Jurrahh, Jurrahh... I have yet to try a Jura, mostly do the the bad rep it seems to have in the Whisky Tube community, but I hear that the recent Jura 16 Perspectives release is pretty special. That will be my first Jura, if I find it on the shelf. Thanks for the video. This is the reason why I keep a collection of various sized corks for potential replacement service. Cheers!
Oh the crap I got for not saying it right - Leinster!!! Thank Colin and Malcolm! Excellent Jura!

If at all possible (extremely rare in the US) get an IB Jura. Trust me on that one.
