Owner of Versed Vintage here. Recognized your name and looked you up on Depop and looks like I was already following you 😂. Also 19 and starting to average around $2500 a month awesome to see other people our age out here getting after it💪 keep it up
I'm a bit much older than you but congrats! I was looking to just check out your shop just to see your style of clothing. I could maybe recommend some pieces to some people I know or i may even like something from your shop!
Omg thank you for the tips at first I was scared to post a lot of stuff at first but now I feel confident based off of your advice thank you btw you just got yourself a new subscriber 💕💕💕☺️☺️
Hopefully I can make more sales, I only really get around 1 sale per 1-2 months so I pretty much only make $15-$30 bucks every now and then. Really wished it was more consistent for me
Just out of curiosity, how do you know where to find a piece out of your inventory when it sells? I assume you have some sort of organization system as opposed to looking through all 700 pieces
I actually do not and i get this question a lot when people see my storage in person. In the future i am sectioning it as bottoms one section, shirts another and jackets all hanging
Hey, I’m an 18-year-old full-time Depop seller, and this month I made US$4,051.69 (just revenue) by selling exactly 46 items. However, just like you mentioned, it's not consistent, and that can be really frustrating. For example, today I sold nothing and barely had any traffic, but just 3 days ago, I sold 5 items within 24 hours, making US$443.22 in a single day. Is this fluctuation just the algorithm, or should I be listing more consistently or refreshing frequently to keep things moving?
It is likely it is just the algorithm causing it to be inconsistent. But to beat the algorithm refreshing and listing more will help your likeliness of making more sales and getting more viewers to your page.
@@EvanZoeteman do you find its cheaper to do your own shipping? How do you factor the shipping price into the item price? How do you even calculate the shipping price?! 😭
I mainly source from a rag house that is really close to where I live. Sadly the closest goodwill bins is about a hour from me. But the bins is what I would consider one of the best places to get your pieces from.
I sold some shoes, shipped them and when they arrived to the buyer depop emailed me saying I need to pay a 200 refundable deposit to receive my full amount
How do you make money off depop? Like if you sell and item for 15 bucks and it costs 15$ to ship an item then you’re just breaking even. Plus there’s the 10% depop charge for every sale so you’d actually lose money. I don’t understand
i9 have a problem of letting go of my clothes so i think imma start getting shit that isnt my size. its hard being a fatty w sum style fr cant find jack
what do you think about the recent changes to depop and people labelling it as dead, as well as people not being able to make enough sales anymore, is it just a case of adapting to the algorithm ?
I haven’t noticed a drastic decrease in sales. I think they have a lot of things to work out and could be way more popular and make it more buyer friendly to bring in more attraction. My opinion it’ll just take time for them to regain popularity.
My top five most popular items I would say. Excessively baggy jeans, alternative styled shirts/sweaters, leather bomber jackets, Any top with a naturally cropped style, and y2k skate brands.
As a mother of a 19 year old I just want to say I'm so proud of what you are doing!!!!!! So awesome!
thats really cute
What a kind soul!
Omg I recognize your store name, you always like my Depop listings haha keep up the great work!!
Same I follow him and he follows me. Such an engaged reseller 🎉

I'm 17 and run a photography business, opened a depop store today too and I hope to be at your level one day 🙏
How’s it going?
@shamarah4273 actually great, about 15 sales so far so roughly one every 2 days, it's not a side income yet but it 100% will be soon

Just came across your channel since you liked my listing on depop! Love the information on this video. Now going to check out your others! :)
I just started selling on depop last month. i got sick half way through the month so sales have slowed down but my goal for march is to make $1500
Thank you so much for the great tips! I just started out and have made a few sales but am currently working on getting more stuff listed. 😊
keep it up bro thanks for the amazing advice
Yay so proud of you! I found your shop on depop!!
thank you for the support!
Good work my man! Keep up the grind/Business.
I was searching for Depop tips, and I just realized that you actually liked my listing lol😂
I have a MacBook 2010 with the latest update, ram and harddrive that I do my sells on as well!
Hell yeah bro keep up the good work! 🔥🔥
Where do you get your clothes from
Good stuff. Is there a way to see how much you’ve made profit not revenue?

Not him but I use totes for sizing so a tote for Xs,small, medium, large, etc
There’s a UA-camr named Lavender Clothesline who has a full basement of inventory and a great organizational system.
See now this is a very attainable amount of money if you put in the work.

You seem really organised and professional probably why you are succeeding. What sells best on your account
Currently my best sellers are women’s short dresses and leopard print baggy pants
Bro your a legend
Did depop remove the option for you to look through likes?
Awesome tips!
NO WAY , IVE SEEN UR DEPOP 😭😭😭
Do you provide shipping or do you use depop shipping? Also how do you source your clothing?
I do my own shipping. I get my clothes mainly from rag houses.

cant be right id email their support team
maybe that was a scam email? trying to scam? i’ve never gotten that either
Hiya! How do you manage the logisitics of all those clothes? Finding/storing seems like an issue. How do you overcome that?
Honestly I just have everything memorized. But I am going to create a system soon
yo, I just started on Depop two months ago and you have liked some of my posts. that's crazy
I was doing similar numbers an im 16 but my account got suspended recently
Great video I am making videos on my beginner journey of a Depop business. Just got 28 shirts to resell
From a supplier?
And where do i get all the clothes?
Are you renting out a space to store your clothes?
No, I have a small closet room on the side of my house that this is in
where do u get your clothes to supply your store?
thrift stores, swap meets, flea markets, and stuff like that

@@EvanZoeteman not in Canada it’s not. It’s minimum $10 to ship the smallest item like a hat or t shirt
make the buyer pay for shipping
what are you ranked at? this is so interesting & currently im at 46
