I feel like you're right about Scooter feeling like Ariana owes her success to him... There was a blind item not long ago, claiming that Ariana wasn't liked by the public before the stadium attack, and that he (Scooter) knew it was an opportunity for her to redeem/rebrand herself, which is what happened... many people criticised him for pushing her to do interviews and carrying on after the attack but the public praised her for it. I remember when everyone hated her due to the donut licking incident and all the diva allegations against her.
True. I think really few people remember the diva allegations. It was all over the internet, and her fans, of course, loved her, but the "public" in general had this mean girl image. Then, unfortunately, the attack happened, and people had more sympathy towards her.
I have to agree with this, the attack truly was the main thing that changed the public perception of her.. Ariana is insanely talented so she doesn’t owe him her career but I do feel he played a part on the changes that happened after the attack. Who she was before to who she is now in terms of popularity are night and day, and I do think Scooter played a part on that.
that’s true she really wasn’t. people thought her music was bad and childish. this was around the miley wrecking ball era and parents were very put off by her sudden sexualized image and sexually charged music even though she was still a teen. EVERYONE hated her for the donut thing. she was just seen as some desperate child actor the industry was trying to push. When no tears left to cry came out was when i started hearing my peers and older people mentioning how actually talented she is and that her music (at least that album) was good. It took a while for her to get respect and adoration for sure

I saw a comment on Ariana recently talking about her drama right now with her relationships. The person claimed that they work in PR and know that “if your team wants something to get out (her allegedly cheating) then that’s what’s going to get out” so seeing that Ariana has had all this BS is sketchy and now she just left her team. She also has a bunch of music that has been leaked since 2020 that is quite sketchy. I think that Ari has been f’ed over recently in media and I think it’s so likely this led to the fall out.

(Which means other will start to do the same) execs have been stubborn to budge w the strikes and this is a taste that it can backfire on them. Can't really see how it would backfire on her though.

Scooter played her dirty for keeping with lies that he will sell her back her own masters. Now Taylor decides the best thing to do is to re-record all of her old music so that she'd be able to own them without fearing for the actual worst. Great reading on this matter. the gag is ariana already parted ways from scooter back in 2016 and he (allegedly) sabotaged her Dangerous Woman rollout. her songs didn't seem to receive as much radio play and chart success as they did when under his management (compare the success of DW to sweetener or TUN when she took him back... he forced her hand). i remember being disappointed when she took him back but i understand that she did it for her career. i always wondered if there would be a day when she would leave him for good, ESP after the taylor debacle.

Ive been saying since the beginning that she should do her own label and partner with someone where artists own their masters and have full creative control. A woman owned artist owned songwriter owned label? Not only would she change the industry with rerecords she would change the industry standard. Why go to labels where artists can be taken advantage of? Shes a great business woman and shes obviously one of the best artists to walk the earth, she understands both perspectives and was given most of the creative control most of her career and shes had to fight for her gut feeling most of her career. Shes the perfect person to have running sometging like that.
The biggest thing that could harm Taylor's Reputation is to show she has harmed her fans. As I see these reports on the cost of her tickets on the resale market, I can't help but wonder if she has resold tickets. There are complaints from people who purchased front row tickets, that when they arrived at one of the Eras Tour Venues they found two rows in front of them. When they complained to the Venu they said they were told "Tylor's people" asked for them to add in the 2 rows for "Friends & Family." Yet when they talked to the people in front of them, they said they purchased them on the resell market.
I remember a few years back Justin Beiber was in hot water because someone traced a shell company that was selling a block of tickets to his tour, ended up being connected to another company he was tied to. I wonder if that is what Scooter has, because it wouldn't be shocking if many artists felt cut out of the true value of their tickets, & chose to get some of those profits for themselves. Fans of any artist would be upset, but Swift would be bashed since her platform is built on trying to be fair & accessable to her fans.
Honestly, it makes sense to me. Taylor is greedy - I can totally see her doing that. I actually don't think she cares about her fans at all. She just plays this character who is so nice and kind and loves her fans so much. I've always had this feeling about her, I think she is just as manipulative as Scooter, if not more. I can tell a fake persona if I see one.
I had heard something going around a bit ago that Taylor actually DID know that Scooter was buying and selling her masters. If that's the case, the overwhelming support, especially financially, by her fans would have been for naught. Just another way to build an image that is profitable.

ohhh, that'd be ruge. i've been a fan of her since ever but one thing that has been kinda of disaponing is how greety the strategy for selling albuns has been lately... for midnights the whole "buy all 4 vinyls and it becomes a clock!" only to later come up with even more versions of the same album but none containing all songs.... i don't know, just with that, as a fan myself, I feel kinda of a lack of care for her fans. i think i'm being naive but, the thing is that you can't help caring for your idol, but then you cleary see this selling strategies screwing us over and trying to make the fans spend as much money as possible... sucks
