Thank you so much of this video! This is brilliant! There is so much you have put together here. I am in tears. So much happiness and peace, no charred ruins and violence and suffering... This is what we need. I shall have to show this to my pupils. Keep up with the good work, thanks again!
We are going to be traveling on our first big trip on this channel and will start uploading new videos from that series in about two weeks along with what we hope will be a super cool surprise.
I am really baffled by all the facts you are able to tell and I love it. The beautiful cars, beautiful buildings and of course the amount of green. I tried to search if there is something what would be nice to see but there is so much there. So much history, so much beauty. I can’t mention just one thing. But I hope you can do more of this regardless where. And the crown of this all. You found a piano! Oh boy. And of course you played it marvelous. Didn’t they want to keep you right away. Haha. Thank you for sharing and playing!
I really want to expand beyond eastern Tennesse, but think I should at least check out a few of the sites that are here first. I know many other sites are close by in other states as well. I also and have plans to expand this series to include all 50 states as soon as I can.
Gosh, that’s a lot to cover and there is already so much beauty to see close by. I love what you are doing. You shows us a America that’s normally not seen. The friendly people, the beauty and peace. And of course the historical beauty. O, I forgot to mention my favorite car. I think you will agree with me…… the saburu. That small ugly car… that’s my favorite one. And I don’t think it’s ugly at all. 😄
It is really a very distinctive automoble and I truly enjoyed seeing it. It seems that most cars all look the same and it's kinda cool to see something that interesting. I thought that museum had good value for a five dollar entrance fee.
Interesting story about Nathaniel Greene. I live in Greensboro, NC where the Battle of Guilford Courthouse was fought in 1781. Nathaniel Greene fought in that battle. There is a large national park on the site where the battle took place. For three years I lived within walking distance of the park. There are great statures there and is a very popular site for joggers and walkers. If you visit the East coast again, you should visit the park.
James , I thought your piano playing was such a nice addition to your Dad's cinematography Feel free to explore the city again and don't hesitate to interview some of the more interesting residents. You could have multi part videos since the time went by so quickly. Lingering on those signs is a thoughtful thing, allowing us to fully appreciate the information. You also might , if he chooses, introduce us to your Dad, he sounds like an awesome fellow. Cheers, Rik Spector
Another great video - it brought back some memories. I recall dodging the rain by visiting the Greene County Museum when I was there last. It ended up being well worth our time. And for some reason, I'm recalling Llamas - is there a Llama ranch or something nearby?
Tennessee has some amazing windy back roads and the sites you visited are impressive, one day I hope to do some traveling and visit these sites. Thank you for taking us on a wonderful journey. 😀

@@americasbackroadswithcharl7688 thats exciting to hear! Are you gonna take the 2-seater?
your piano playing is exceptional! Thank you for the history tours.
The car museum was my favorite part. :-)
Very cool!

38:45 "There's a piano." ... and then he plays the perfect music for the General Morgan Inn.
.
I had no idea that I would find a piano inside the General Morgan Inn.
Love your travel videos. Now I want to visit Tennessee.
Go for it!
Your gasp at seeing the piano gave me a good chuckle, thanks for that. That is a grand inn for sure!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for your kind words.
The Nash Metro is my favourite car in the museum. Made in England 30 or so miles from where your Morgan was made.

There are farms everywhere around in eastern Tennessee, so likely.
@@americasbackroadswithcharl7688 Yep, here's the place I was thinking about: thewanderingllamas.com/ Very cool.
Most favorite 1981 Berlina Coupe --- Least favorite 1981 DeLorean
