So I have this same laptop. But where the SSD card is supposed to slide in, the connector isn’t there. My laptop looks identical to yours, same model and everything. It even says SSD, and has that screw where you can secure an SSD card, just no connector soldered to the actual board. On your video, the piece I’m missing is right at 2:45 and it says 191902. I called Dell and they said, supposedly, there are versions of this specific model that are strictly for educational purposes and has no SSD slot, and is stuck with the base 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. It doesn’t make sense to me because I can’t find that statement anywhere online, let alone, even on the manual, it shows that SSD connector slot should be there. To make matters worse, I already ordered and SSD card AND upgraded my Windows from 10 to 11. So there’s absolutely NO space! Can that specific component be installed on the motherboard? What advice would you give me to up my memory on this thing?
