Back before I got my Peloton, I was so curious about this bike. It seemed almost too good to be true for the price, and I really liked the look of it. There were NO reviews or videos about it in the real world for the longest time, and nothing that showed the actual content/user experience so it felt like such a big risk to buy one. Had this video existed back then, I may have bought this instead! Always appreciate these videos.!
Thanks Michael! I had a few comments here and there about it, but it really stayed under the radar. I did not expect much when they sent me the bike simply because of how little I hear about it. Completely surprised me!

Hi Travis, after seeing your video, I immediately order 1 and they are having a fabulous promotion where you can get a free gift bundle that consist of weight, resistance band) however that's only applicable to only white and beige model, and yes I missed that and tried to change the color of the bike which resulted to me finding out that they don't really have good customer support, the only way to contact them are via email or live chat. I don't really fancy that. So buyers beware! But overall, thanks for the awesome review.
Awesome and hope you love it! I could see this one taking off and becoming more popular simply because of the quality/features to price ratio. Thanks for sharing about customer support as I did not work with them and always appreciate getting feedback about experiences. Thanks again and hope it works out great Geraldine!

I wonder why all the reviews about this bike omit to talk about what you can do with the bike without the monthly paid subscription (because you don't necessarily need it)...any conflict of interest with your client?
Hi Travers. Great video as always. Just been on the Freebeat and they have a bike the Boom bike at $699. Any thoughts on testing that out as other than a smaller screen it has all the same main features. Stay safe
Thank you so much Peter! I don’t have that one lined up and have a lot of other content in the pipeline. I wish I could get to more!!! Maybe someday but don’t think I will have my hands on that one anytime soon.
Hi! I'm in the process of choosing a indoor bike and was wondering about your experience with the Free Beats Lit bike. Have you encountered any issues with the pedals or the bike overall?
I am always testing the next product for my channel so I have not put tons of time on this bike since my review, but it really does seem like a quality build. Specially compared to the price. It feels like it should be priced higher. I have not seen a lot of negative comments about it either.
Hey! I see this review was made recently. Where would it rate on your top 10 list you made 1 yr ago? I am very competitive and love the gamified aspect
I would have it very high. I think it is a great value. The bike quality competes with much more expensive models. The gamified scoring is a nice change of pace from leaderboards. The content and over the top green screen visuals leave a bit to be desired if that is a major negative for you. But overall, I am really help with the bike overall and love the price to value.
No, the screen is locked in to the Freebeat UI so no Peloton Content. I thought the max resistance was great. A hair better than Stryde and on par with Peloton. (Have not tested Keiser yet)
I have not tested the bike without a subscription yet and "just ride" mode to see what they make available, but theoretically, yes. While I really like this bike, I do want to point out that a lot of the cost is in that attached monitor and what it does. If you plan to use it strictly as Peloton Digital, I would lean towards other options that focus on the bike or monitor being unlocked (Keiser, Stryde, IC4, C6, Sunny). This will save you some money but give you the same experience mostly.
You can enter web browser mode. I got a hold of customer service and under profiles, click the bottom right corner of the screen 5 times and it enters the web browser for internet surfing(google,UA-cam etc) there's is no actual button to click, you just have to click the bottom right corner 5 times. This bike has been great for me and has surpassed my expectation for what I wanted. The gamified experience definitely keeps you engaged in the class and pushes you to try and pass the next person ahead of you with a better score.
Thank you so much for reviewing this bike! My only question pertains to the classes that are offered. Are there a lot of different classes that are offered for in and off the bike? Also, do they cover multiple fitness levels?
My pleasure! Had to go power the bike up and verify as I didn't want to give bad info. Loads of cycling classes, it just kept scrolling so I didn't count! Off the bike content I counted 53 total exercises so not as large of an inventory as others but still plenty to have some variety. I did not see a filter for fitness level but the classes have a easy and hard level built in where you can earn those points. So, you can push yourself to the level your are comfortable and back off when you need to. Hope that helps!
I dont understand why I am always told that when I am ready to get serious I can ditch the cages and move to the spd clips. I am a serious rider and I use cages. I dont want clips. I have had them and dont like them. It is a choice. It doesnt imply I am somehow a novice rider. Not a knock on you. All bike reviewers say it.
Nothing wrong with that. You know what you like. I feel like moving to spd shoes and clipping in makes me more secure to the bike and I can cycle harder. But if the cages are working great, no reason to change anything!
It has been a while, but I believe that one was very simple. I have done many so I am a little faster, but maybe 20 to 30 minutes. If you have someone to help, it is even faster but this was not bad at all from what I remember.
I do not like that green screen studio thing they got going just watching it on this video is making me dizzy. Do they have ride options WITHOUT that? Not that it really matters I’m a peloton for life kinda guy haha in just curious
I meant to say that as well and forget. Not a fan of it either and wish they would offer non-green screen or tone it down. Maybe with time. I didn't notice rides that were not that format, so I think that is how they do if for now. Not all were terrible but can be a lot visually.
Yeah....it was annoying in this video. I can't imagine what it would be like in person. I was considering purchasing. But that it's confirmed it can't be turned off. It's a hard pass.
I have not played with it much since the review but most had that format. Some were less jarring than others but mostly that green screen style. I am hoping they fade from that as it was my only real complaint.
Unfortunately, this bike is trash. I bought it in August and it arrived with a broken usb-c cable. After a back and forth with their customer service and two months later, I haven’t received an actual replacement, but one wrong cable and an adapter for the wrong cable which doesn’t even power the monitor anymore and now I can’t even use the bike. Clearly cheap parts as now the flywheel and chains are squeaking horribly as I attempted to at least get my money’s worth while I waited for cables they didn’t expedite. The worst purchase i’ve ever made. Biggest headache. Don’t buy from Freebeat.

Oh. Not for people with epilepsy at all. I definitely had to turn the screen over.
Yeah, I could imagine it being very bad for that.

does the resistance only work if you buy the classes? because I was trying to use it regularly and the resistance knob just goes back up on it's own ?

Travis, I just set my bike up. Can you tell me why my screen won't turn on? I made sure the hook ups were all done right. 😢
Sorry, I was on vacation with no access to internet. Di you get this worked out?
Can you use this bike to do peloton classes? How does the max resistance compare with Peloton/Keiser/Stryde?
No, the screen is locked in to the Freebeat UI so no Peloton Content. I thought the max resistance was great. A hair better than Stryde and on par with Peloton. (Have not tested Keiser yet)

Looking to purchase a stationary bike here soon. Does this have backward pedaling capabilities?
I believe the resistance will still be there when pedaling backwards but I don't remember the content integrating that type of riding.
Can you still use the bike without subscription ? What if you don’t want the membership just use the bike
Sorry, I have not tested that yet… for now, will have to ask them.

Is the music cover music, or licensed music from popular artists?
Also wondering this

You drove the price up, it is now $1,300.00
Whoops! 😉
I don’t know about that wood!
A little different but I actually like it.
The background of those classes look incredibly jarring? Are there any classes without that?
