I'm impressed by the quality you're achieving with those simple bulb/mirror setup! Coming from a video production background I expected RGB light panels and/or softboxes + grids, etc., but those bulbs and mirrors are definitely doing their job!
BTW some tips that I hope can help you with your workflow:
1. The X-T3 can show the OSD (On Screen Display) through HDMI. You can enable it via an option in the menu called "HDMI Output Info Display". That way you don't have to look through a mirror.
2. If you don't mind closed source software, and you don't mind learning another software (that's two big assumptions), you can give DaVinci Resolve a try. It's free, but not open source. It will, however, save you a lot of time syncing and jumping between different software. (But you'll also need a better GPU)
3. Microphones are a rabbit hole. I'm not a sound guy, but I recommend you check out Podcastage.
4. Donated (if that helps lol)
Thank you so much for the donation! And I'm happy it looks good :D
Regarding the OSD, I actually tried that, but enabling that turns the quality of the HDMI output down to 1080p/720p; on my 4K monitor, I actually prefer having full 4K output quality to make sure I'm perfectly in focus :-/
You won't stop talking because you love what you do. We love what you do because you love what you do. We won't stop watching because we love what you do.
Keep doing "you"
💞
can you imagine a time traveler from the 1950s wondering why people are talking to their SLRs? Oh, time travelers from the 1950s are still around! Things have certainly moved fast.
KDE does audio track sync. Also the audio sounds fine to me, but for your other poetry projects it might benefit. Really great setup otherwise, using everything to the max! I think you can concentrate on improving your workload and making it easier, as quality wise your videos are great!
The mic is fine. Audio quality is good. I wouldn't change that, honestly. Video quality is very good, GJ.
Oh wow! I thought the backdrop was a greenscreen! Really cool idea
What's this, the least automated linux dev workflow?! >.< Thanks for detailing everything, looks complicated :D
Manual focus is always the way 🤘😼
I really thought the background colors were green screen till now, never realised that it was RGB bulbs in the background
About time!
Based gaming chair.
I'm concerned about all the killing that Nicco's offering to do for stuff here.
I shall keep an eye on murder rates and production quality increases. Correlation will obviously prove guilt. 😜
You're first
Just kidding ahahah
@@niccoloveslinux No, that's not right. Here, lemme fix that for you:
You're first
Just kidding .. mmMMMMWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA.
It's the evil laugh that really makes it. 🤣
Enjoy the vacation, Dude. 👍
You failed to mention anything about the monitor. I say that because I'm currently looking for an ultra wide monitor.
You know you could enable the ui on the hdmi out on fuji cameras, right? I don't have an X-T3, but an X-T200 (same generation, fujis naming is weird) and in the video settings you can enable "HDMI OUTPUT INFO DISPLAY".
Yepp! But it lowers the output quality a lot, so it's much harder to see if I'm in focus
@@niccoloveslinux Oh, interesting, never noticed that, but it makes sense because I think it just mirrors the camera screen which is like 600x480 or something
@@fischer-felix yep. A significant step down from the 4k of my monitor :P
Nico, why don't you use dark themes?
i saw snow outside
👍Nice.
Brava! just brava
What Linux are you using right now?

Which specs have u pc? Thanks for u work on youtube
Notion is okay. it's just the kidnapping of your data is just so painful... that's why I use obsidian... not gonna lie if an open source rust alternative of obsidian comes out... I'm jumping ship.
Can you add some links to the products you use? Camera/Tripod, led lights etc?
Is that chrome?💀
Noooo, dont sell your soul to tiktok...
It's a privacy nightmare, but who am I telling, everybody knows.
He wants to bring the new generation to KDE. I'd never do that, so I'm glad Niccolò is doing it for us all. Take the kids out of there
Most importantly u need to shave off that beard thing that makes u look weird.
