Circus Circus Reno is a hotel and casino located in Downtown Reno, Nevada. It is one of the core hotel-casinos that are interconnected within the downtown Reno area, along with Silver Legacy and the Eldorado.
Built and originally opened in 1978, Circus Circus Reno has over 65,000 square feet of gaming floor and 1,620 rooms. It was originally built as a department store for Gray, Reid & Wright. Circus Circus has seen numerous renovations throughout the years and the hotel has three main towers. Its main attraction continues to be the Arcade Level and carnival style games for kids and the performance stage.

Yeah, too bad. Hopefully they will bring it back. A lot of casinos nowadays have gotten rid of their buffets, sad.

This place was a staple for a lot of families in the Bay Area every winter. It used to be packed shoulder to shoulder and it's sad to see how little people there are now.
Yeah, Circus Circus needs a major update to compete with other casinos/resorts. Hopefully it will improve soon.

That's my memory of it too, though we only went once. Circa 1990 we stayed at the Eldorado I think but went to Circus Circus that night and it was absolutely packed and seemed endlessly large and full of entertainment possibilities.

This one in Reno is way better than the one in Vegas. They redid all the rooms in Reno too recently

Is there a buffet style restaurant in Circus Circus?
I believe they do have a buffet at the Circus Circus in Reno. It is called the Courtyard Buffet.
